Works as Designed
Easy to clean and works well. I remove top, empty contents, hose out container and filters. Close back up. It's not an immediate remedy. But, it's definitely working. Will probably buy another to have a spare. Size is a little bit larger than I realized. But, it's the same size that's advertised. Good value. Common sense assembly - along with assembly directions.

The instructions are useless. Luckily I found a video on u tube. Once it was installed my pond was totally clear in a matter of hours.

Great bio filter
Added this to my new 150 gallon pond 2 weeks after initial setup. With this and some beneficial bacteria my cycle was over in no time. works great, keeps water clean and clear

CLEAR! choice
Like anything you buy it must be the right tool for the job, this is a gravity filter system so you can’t try to run a waterfall from it unless you’re planning on putting it above the level of the waterfall fixture.This filter along with my pressurized water filter (could not keep up)cleaned my 1000 gallon 9 large koi pond within a few days( I had to clean it out a few times the first couple of days but it was just doing its job and quite well at it.

For the price it works well.
I've used for 3 years. Connected 3 together with a 1500 gph pump and it keeps my 1600 koi and goldfish pond clean with weekly backflush.
