I needed a wide gate for my hallway to keep my dogs from going upstairs, and this gate exceeded my expectations. What impressed me most is that it comes with extensions included, so I didn’t have to buy extra parts to make it fit—a cost that many other manufacturers add on. Installation was incredibly simple, and the extension panels slotted in perfectly. Unlike other gates I’ve tried, where adding extensions makes the pressure points wobbly, this one feels solid, stable, and truly fit for purpose. The build quality is excellent, and it gives me peace of mind knowing my dogs are safely contained without any hassle. This is a great bit of kit. we didn't need both extension pieces, but it is so worth the money. Easy to assemble, lightweight but strong, excellent lock mechanism with the over 90 degree stay open option, which is very useful if you are carrying anything like a laundry basket for example. Really glad we got it would definitely recommend.

Following a cruciate injury, my flatcoat was on reduced exercise and needed to be restricted on stairs especially. This stairgate helped enormously, it can be left open if required, or set to close automatically behind you.Gives me freedom to go about the house without the worry that flora will follow and possibly injure herself, prolonging healing .Great quality item,well made ,easy fitting with no need to use screws,easily done by one person in 10mins.

Purchased to stop our dog charging out through the front door. It looks good, very sturdy, well built, and the right height for our pooch. All in all I thought this gate to be good value and would buy again if I needed to.

Great for fitting across an open plan dining / kitchen. Was the only one I could find to fit. Ideal for keeping dogs out. Can screw into wall but I just used the pressure pads and it was easy to put up and take down when needed

This PawHut stair gate has been a lifesaver! It was relatively easy to install and feels very sturdy, giving me peace of mind. The gate is easy to open and close for adults. It's also not an eyesore, which is a bonus. Definitely recommend this if you're looking for a reliable and reasonably priced stair gate.
