Good cooler for 9800x3d
It is smaller than my SE that cools i7 12700 that has more than 180W TDP but is good enough for 9800x3d that is less than 130W TDP. The installation is al.ost the same and easy. The built quality looks good to me. If you need a short cooler(13.5cm) for 9800x3d, it will be a good candidate for the price.

Great performing air cooler looks great too.
I'm done with water cooling. This looks great, and cools almost as well. Less to worry about - I've had pumps die on me, and this is just a cheap fan replacement if it ever gets to that point.Low cost, high performance, looks great.

Keeps CPU Cool
It's pretty big and looks goofy sticking out of my mini PC case, but it's far more efficient than the fan I had before. It was a little hard to install (I had to remove my whole motherboard to put on the back piece; other fans sometimes just screw in from the front) but the results are worth it: I saw a reduction of about 40F in my CPU temperatures while under a heavy load from gaming. My last fan may have been insufficient, but this one definitely isn't. If you have a tiny PC that heats up uncomfortably, this might be your solution.

Great Product for sub-140mm coolers, but packaging is a concern.
I purchased this cooler to replace Thermalright's fantastic SI-100 low profile cooler due to a CPU upgrade (going from a 5700G to a 5700X3D) and I elected to upgrade my cooling as a result.Cooler was easy to install, since the installation method is practically identical to the Peerless Assassin 120 and the mentioned SI-100 I've used before for my own builds and a few friends.Although cooling was fantastic for a 135mm cooler, VRM temps improved thanks to the low position of the fan, and overall clean aesthetic, the one annoying issue I've noticed is how I received the cooler. The extremely tight packaging resulted in several fins bent when I removed the cooler from it's foam protection. Although fixable with a taped-off flathead screwdriver (to avoid ruining the white finish), I believe a better packing method could be used.

Great little cooler for $35
Got it at launch. It has been in multiple builds as my testing/temporary cooler while working on builds.

Smaller than Expected but Cooler than expected
Honestly, I really can't say any more than Gamers Nexus already said on YouTube. If you're on the fence about this cooler, get this one or the original bigger assassin/w 2 fans if you think you need more cooling. Great price to performance I ended up going back to an air cooler after my aio died on me while gaming.

Big cooling in a small package.
Bought for my wife's pc, running a i5-11600KF and an RTX 3060 in a pretty restrictive airflow case. Keeps things cool, averaging around 56 degrees celsius during gaming sessions. Great cooler for a small case.

Smaller version of an already great cooler
This is another winner from Thermalright, especially if you need a slightly smaller overall height. It installs very similar to the regular Peerless Assassin, but it is just shorter and only comes with a single fan. The look, performance, and build quality match their other heatsinks.
