Great DVD player
This is perfect for the price. I love that it comes with a remote and Iโve had it for months and itโs been very reliable. The battery lasts around 2 1/2 hours, has good volume, good screen size and I love that the screen rotates. It makes it so much easier to get a head mount so kiddos donโt have to hold it. Iโd buy it again if it ever breaks.

Another reviewer here was right - It's impressive how much they pack into this little thing!
I've had an iGeek DVD player since Covid first hit, and while it did the job it annoyed me from the get-go. The picture was yellow-ish on about half of the DVDs I watched, no matter how I adjusted the settings, and it was generally a noisy little machine. Lately, it has been really struggling to play DVDs - it will still play them, but you have to take the CD out, keep cleaning it, then keep cleaning the lens, etc., and after like, 10 minutes, you *might* be able to trick it to play. It felt like when the time is up on a car - you know it's time to move on to greener pastures. (This was after 4 years of fairly regular use because I borrow a lot of DVDs from the library to watch while I work.) I came back to Amazon to see what was out there and settled on the $108 DVD player that everyone was rating highly. It was pricey, sure, but if it gives me less hassle than my current one, it's worth the price. Well, nope - when that thing came, it was the size of a laptop because I did what I always do and missed reading the specs before I purchased it. So I happened upon this one - right price point, *seemingly* right size based on customer pictures, and when it came, I was so impressed! It feels like watching movies on my big-screen TV but at like, a 16th of the screen size, which is perfect for squeezing it onto my desk while I work. The sound quality blew me out of my chair - in fact, my son came out from his room to see if something was wrong it was so loud. I dropped it down to just one bar, and it was still at the perfect sound. I haven't watched a full movie on it yet, but I was impressed that it doesn't sound like a jackhammer when you're skipping around to different menus. Impressive picture, sound, and less noisy, plus it's even *smaller* than my iGeek (which I see as a plus). Most definitely the better purchase between this and the laptop-sized one. Highly recommend if you need a small-screened DVD player that does the job. And, not like I will need it for this, but it also works with your TV, which is pretty great if you need a DVD player and don't already use your gaming consoles like we do. And, of course, it comes with a car adapter for if you have kids in the car. At this price point, you honestly can't do better if you're looking for great quality in a smaller package.

9.5 portable dvd player
Jus received mine and Iโm already in love with it. I am a senior and where I lived we have power outages seasonally and I was looking for something not too small or large to watch when I donโt have power. Its perfect! The cd I have in there now is very clear on the screen and the sound is outstanding. The fit is perfect for me. I pulled it out the box put in a cd and pressed play easy! I am looking for a lot of entertainment in the future.. I havenโt used the remote control yet but I am sure its great as well! I highly recommend this dvd player a great buy for seniors!

Good little device
I purchased this portable DVD player for my two youngest children to use during a long road trip to visit family, and it has been a great purchase overall. The battery lasts a reasonable amount of time, and I appreciate that it includes a car charger, making it easy to keep powered during travel. The picture and overall performance have been reliable, and we havenโt experienced any issues so far. My only complaint is that there isnโt a battery level indicator. If youโre using it on battery power, it can shut off unexpectedly in the middle of a movie without any warning, which can be frustrating, especially for young children. It is also a little louder than expected, but once youโre focused on the movie, itโs hardly noticeable. Overall, Iโm very happy with this purchase and would definitely buy it again. With six kids, weโll likely be purchasing a second one so everyone isnโt trying to crowd around a single screen during road trips.

โ Finally, a DVD Player That Makes Me Feel Like a Genius Parent
If there were a Nobel Prize for car sanity, this little 9.5" portable DVD player deserves it. Hereโs the thing: my kids have the attention span of squirrels on espresso, and road trips usually sound like a cage match in the backseat. Enter this small but mighty hero. The 7.5โ swivel screen rotates like a gymnast, so no matter whoโs sitting where, someone can see the movie (and no one can complain about the โbad angleโโa true parental victory). **Battery life:** Lasts 4โ6 hours, which is about two Disney movies plus the inevitable โone more Paw Patrol, please.โ Iโve tested it on long drives and it hasnโt died mid-song yet, sparing me from the chaos of a soundtrack suddenly cutting off. **Sound:** Dual speakers that are surprisingly strongโloud enough for the kids, but not so loud that I regret my life choices in the driverโs seat. Thereโs also a headphone jack, which is basically a peace treaty in a tiny plastic port. **Features that made me feel smarter than I am:** * Sync to TV? Check. I plugged it into the living room TV when the main Blu-ray player decided to retire without notice. Worked flawlessly. * Region Free? Yesโsuddenly those random DVDs from grandparents overseas arenโt just shiny coasters anymore. * Remote control? Absolutely. Nothing makes me feel more like a captain of calm than muting a cartoon from the front seat with one button. And itโs durable. My toddler once *dropped it while it was still playing*. It didnโt skip a beat. Honestly, I think this thing could survive the apocalypse, playing Frozen on loop as the world burns. Bottom line: If you have kids, a car, or even just a nostalgic love for DVDs, this gadget is pound-for-pound one of the best parenting investments youโll make. Bonusโwhen strangers see me whip it out at the park or on flights, I get that โwow, youโre a smart momโ look. And honestly, who doesnโt live for that? Highly recommend. And if the company is reading this: feel free to send me your next genius invention, because clearly you understand the modern parent struggle better than most of us.

Modest Device for Kids
We were looking to purchase a sturdy and modest portable DVD player for an upcoming flight north to visit family. This did the trick! PROS: This is a sturdy device, small enough for a purse or backpack, but with a decently-sized viewing screen. The screen is the same size as my iPhone 11, oddly enough. With the buttons being a sleek chrome/stainless and the hardware black, it isn't an eyesore like others that I had seen that have red or blue buttons. The screen pivots to accomodate tight spaces or angled viewing and will adjust to a full 180 degrees to allow for the DVD deck and buttons to be protected from little hands. There may be mounting options for vehicle seats, but I do not plan to use it in that way, so I am not sure. The size and portability of this will also be useful for our homeschool DVD courses, fostering independent and on-the-go learning apart from the family media center. CONS: Since many DVDs are now in widescreen, you will lose close to an inch on the top AND bottom of the viewing space. If the movie is fullscreen, it will fill the entire screen. From our experience, many menus are in fullscreen, and so, it can be initially deceiving. Unless we are missing something, THIS DOES NOT PLAY BLURAY DISCS. Keep that in mind. Although this is simple enough for most children to use easily, I'm sure that it isn't drop proof. All in all, it is perfect for us and our handful of young ladies. (One star demerit for not widescreen incompatibility.)

USB drive format and video file system problem
It only supports usb pen drive formatted in fat 32 in which maximum size is 4 GB. So useless to buy 32 GB pen drive. You cannot watch video size more then 4 GB thats video file has to be converted into VOB format. Most format it canโt support in usb pendrive .
