Are these shooting glasses or are they sunglasses? There is a difference because shooting glasses ride higher on the nose.

They are shooting glasses. I bought them for my son to shoot ATA trap with. We like them. They are not the same grade as Pilla but are 1/10 the cost.

Can I use them as safety glasses?

it's a great shooting glasses, of course you can use it as a simple safety one but it could be a pity

Can these fit over prescription glasses?

There is a nose piece that looks like glasses. You have to go to an eye clinic and they can make lenses fit the nose piece with lenses for about 60.00 dollars. You will then have prescription shooting glasses. They are not designed to go over prescription glasses

Are these okay if I have a large head? how long is the arm bit?

The arm is 3 1/2 in.from hinge to end of arm. The measurement across hinge to hinge is 6 in. My head size is a medium Hope this helps.
