Sprayed it on paper and got the waxy iris and some kind of vanilla in the background...nice, but I wasn't blown away. I let the paper sit while I ate dinner and watched youtube videos...smelling it every now and then. It pretty much stayed the same on paper...that dry waxy iris with some bright citrus and vanilla...very nice. Then I went to take a shower and get cleaned up, after doing the "Triple-S" I decided to try two sprays of "Asad-Z" on chest. Immediately got a creamy vanilla on skin as the scent wafted up to my nose/face. Then the bright Iris hit. I wasn't waxy like it smelled on paper!! Then I noticed how loud it was...two sprays of most other fragrances aren't this powerful. THAT is the kind of performance I like!! It is now 2 hours later and I'm still getting the same P-U-S-H from those two sprays to my chest. VERY NICE!!! It almost feels like as this develops, the iris takes a backseat to some kind of dry woodiness and a creaminess that takes over the fragrance. This is very....odd. It's sweet and creamy vanilla...with this dry woodiness in the background. I'm not getting any coconut or anything like it. This fragrance reminds me of "Victoria Secret - Tease Creme Cloud"...just sweeter and with Iris in it. I'm going to give it a full-day wear to work tomorrow and then I'll give it a final rating. But so far...this is a winner!! 23APR24: Welp, wearing this to work today with a layer of "Burberry Goddess" and it's WONDERFUL!! The sweetness of "Goddess", the Dry powderiness of "Zanzibar"....awesome! I figured out why it reminds me of my "VS - Tease Creme Cloud", its got that "Black Pepper" that stays persistent in the fragrance aura. Its in the background...but its constantly there. Sillage trail on this one....MASSIVE!! I left a trail of Zanzibar from the entry of the security checkpoint all the way to the bus depot on the other side of the building. I could hear people coming into the security checkpoint saying how nice it smelled in the building, lol. Walking around, I can smell "Zanzibar" over the "Goddess" because of the dry-woodiness of "Zanzibar". I am still picking up on the sweet lavender of "Goddess", but everything else...ZANZIBAR! I'm still not getting any "Coconut" from this, just the Iris, Vanilla and Black Pepper. But you know what...that's just find with me. I'd once built a fragrance with Vanilla, Black Pepper and Cedar and loved it while I had it. I moved on and never went back to make another bottle...but this "Zanzibar" gives the same kinda feel and all I've gotta do is spray and enjoy. I think I'm going to enjoy this even more once it macerates and gets better in a month or so. I'll be wearing it at least once or twice a week though. I'm looking forward to seeing how my inner circle feel about it when I wear it around them all... 26APR24: I don't know what happened, but the creaminess factor of this fragrance went into overdrive tonight. I smell like a vanilla ice cream cone....holy shinola!!! I need a backup bottle ASAP!! 😲😲😲❤️❤️❤️❤️

This fragrance smells amazing right out of the box — a warm mix of fresh and spicy notes with a subtle vanilla finish. It lasts most of the day without needing to reapply, and the sillage is noticeable without being overpowering. For the price, it’s honestly comparable to designer fragrances that cost 3-4x more. Packaging arrived in perfect condition too. Highly recommend if you like oriental/amber scents.”

"Luxurious tropical" is a description I've seen online, and it's accurate. So far the only "coconut" fragrance I've ever found that not only actually delivers, but delivers all day. Wonderfully rich vanilla/coconut fragrance, it stands out in my fairly decent collection. Good summer fragrances are hard to find, so this one's very nice. Now, performance seems to be poor, like it doesn't last for long. Overspray a bit on clothing and hair to make it pop, but with the following warning - you'll get 4 good hours out of it in an office environment, which I think matches the price rather accurately. BUT - if you break a sweat while wearing it, even after it has largely become a skin scent, it will absolutely explode back to life and even possibly choke people out - so overspray only if you know you're going to be in a cool environment all day. Don't overspray it if you're going to be perspiring/warm. Great gym scent, but go light! This stuff was perfectly engineered for explosively waking back up in warm weather/perspiration. In this light, it's a winner!

Now this stuff smells really good. I got it for my husband. It’s lightweight almost woodsy candy smell. I don’t know how else to explain it. It’s just a very nice not to overwhelming smell just fresh. The bottle appears expensive.

smells good in small amounts after like three or four it smells bad. but the dry down on two sprays is delightful smells fresh and super clean. also its long lasting so the dry down lasts maybe 8 hrs tbh. I've sprayed it in the morning and still smells it almost by the end of the day. strong stuff so spray conservatively. it smells like sweet coconut milk. its suppose to be a summer fragrance but I enjoy it anytime it is warm. great buy I say don't go off the negative hype on tik Tok since it doesn't deserve it. just spray conservatively 2x max.

It didn’t smell good on me but it did on my friend. I gifted it to my friend and he loves it. Sleek bottle it doesn’t leak. The projection and sillage is impressive on him.

Lovely perfume, quite strong smell so when applying need to be consideret. I would say it stays for up to 3-4 hours. According to my perception it smells like cloves in the begging, definitely oriental and sensual smell. I would say it is more on the night side than everyday smell . I have bought it a few times for my husband now, and really enjoy it on him. The bottle is heavy and it feels expensive.

Cuando vi el Asad (el frasco azul de la foto) en Amazon, me decidí a probarlo, y la experiencia ha sido impecable. • Autenticidad garantizada: Mi mayor miedo al comprar perfumes online es la piratería. Para esta reseña, he comparado el Asad de Amazon con mis otros Lattafa (los frascos negro y marrón de la foto). He de decir que el que vende Amazon es el original: el aroma, la potencia y el frasco son auténticos. (No pongo la caja porque lo compré hace varios meses y la tiré, pero venía con los sellos holográficos y medidas de seguridad). • Proyección y duración: El Asad azul es una bestia. Con un par de atomizaciones, tienes proyección de sobra para horas. El aroma me recuerda a especias tipo pimienta…. en fin… muy oriental. • Presentación: El frasco es pesado, no es el típico frasco de cristal al que estamos acostumbrado en Europa. Eso sí, si se te cae, antes parte una losa que se rompe. Pros: • Aroma intenso y duradero. • Relación calidad-precio inmejorable para un perfume original de este nivel. • Garantía de autenticidad comprando en Amazon. Contras: • Es un aroma muy potente, no apto para quienes prefieren perfumes sutiles. Más para el invierno que para el verano, según gustos.
