Includes 1 Gallon of Arjay Transom Pour with MEK Hardener Its intended use is as a core material in the transoms of power boats. Arjay’s 6011 Ceramic Pourable Compound Transom Putty has a compressive strength of over 2,900 psi and is relatively lightweight (7.0 lbs/gal). Boat manufacturing processes have improved a lot over the years, and Arjay has been there every step of the way. Our CPC is becoming the standard for boat hull transoms, where extremely high compressive and flexural strengths and low exotherm in large masses are not only required, they’re everything. Today’s transoms hold more weight and power than ever before, and failure is not an option. Repair: Rescuing Old Transoms Many older powerboats were built with plywood transoms, which eventually rot. Our Transom Pour allows repair of these transoms that are minimally invasive, takes less time, and is ultimately more cost-effective. But our customers have discovered many other uses for this versatile product: Coring small parts Providing a bed for mounting engines Backing up two-part molds Repairing dry rot in transoms and stringers Backing up marine hardware GEL PROPERTIES Gel Time: 21 Minutes Interval: 52 Minutes Total: 73 Minutes Peak Exotherm is 130°F

this stuff is solid!easy to use ,pours well.
great product this does have fibers in it , rock solid after a few days try to drill early or cut because the longer it cures the harder it gets No more wood in transom is awesome! recommend making sure there are no open areas with a light in the dark because if there is, this stuff will find it and you will waste it, i used spray foam and went around the entire inside form to be sure no leaks , its easily removed and gave me a feeling of confidence when i poured.I used old plastic big gulp cups as a funnel just squeezed it between the form. best to pull forms in a few hours because then you know there isnt anything stuck to them .i used pvc board for my inside form and then i will cover the whole inside with fiberglass cloth after.

Good. Expands then shrinks when setting off.
Good stuff. Easy to mix and pour. Seems very strong when it is set up . When it is setting off it gets hot and expands so the problem I had is that I used it in part of the boat transom that had wood surrounding the area I poured the Arjay. The wood pushed away when the Arjay expanded and when the Arjay cooled it shrunk back down and the wood did not so there was a little bit of separation between the two. I don't know how to prevent that. I'ts still going to be ok for what I used it for but I just want everyone to be aware.

This stuff works great!
Injected with a 150ml syringe into soft spots in my boat deck. Used about a 3/16 drill bit and circled the soft spot with holes a few inches apart. Injected arjay 6011 into the holes till the liquid came out of the next hole. Works great! Deck is solid as a rock. Make sure you use a small plug to plug the holes after you're done. I added a little pressure to ensure it was completely filled. Balsa core sailboat decks get soft spots around deck hardware. It's just a fact of life. This stuff works great.

The lid on the bucket was not easy to get back on due to the gasket on the bucket
I used this material for filling the gap between the transom and fiberglass on my bass boat. It worked perfectly as a filler. Rock hard and with little to no mess.

Easy and solid
Easy application, I believe Seacast is stronger but this stuff is much easier to work with. And for what I needed it for it worked out great.
