I spent several weeks studying convertible loveseat sleepers before considering my purchase. Reviewers on Amazon and multiple other retail sites almost unanimously gave very high ratings to the Serta loveseat (and sofa) sleepers. So, I went with the Serta in the Charcoal gray color. It took almost a month to receive my loveseat sleeper, but it was worth the wait. It arrived on my doorstep on a Saturday evening in a very large, heavy box. The shipping box was a little beat up, but inside the loveseat parts had been packed really well and everything was in pristine condition. I did need the assistance of a second person to get the loveseat unpacked and into my house. Aside from easily attaching the loveseat arms, there was no further assembly required. The back mechanism and pull-out footrest work smoothly and perfectly, converting to a full-size bed effortlessly. The upholstery fabric used for this loveseat is soft but looks durable. A contrasting white piping adds a nice design detail to the look. All of the cushioning of this loveseat is firm (but not too firm) and makes it more ideal for the sleeper function. Overall, this is a very solid piece of furniture that doesn't disappoint. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Happy to report that this Full size sofa sleeper looks exactly as expected and works perfectly in my small home office to double as a guest room. I personally like the firmness, it is easy to assemble (though heavy! definitely a 2 person move). It seems reasonably priced after looking at a lot of options in this pretty specific (non queen size) sleep/sofas. Not related to the actual item was delivery-- I saw other people say this as well, but the item was delivered about a week earlier than expected with NO communication to me to say it was coming and I actually didn't even get a notice that it had arrived (we were out for the day). The delivery person decided to put it to the side of the front porch just CRUSHING a large mature fern we've been growing. Not great, but, not to do with the actual Serta Sofa.

Very pleased with this loveseat! Very solid and covering is good upholstery fabric. Yes it's firm but it's fine, I'll get a memory foam topper for it and it will sleep great. However! It weighs a ton! I got the $19 delivery to the room, thank goodness! As a senior there is no way I could have gotten it into the house even with 5 friends! The box was @ 5x5x2 feet, very heavy cardboard. It said open this side, which was the seating surface. Directions are all pictures, and they don't show that yes, the arms slide into sleeves but they must slide up from the bottom!! So you must either lift the loveseat up at least 8" to slide them on from the bottom, or turn it sideways. No way is 1 or maybe even 2 people going to do this, this sucker is enormous and very heavy. Thank goodness I ordered a set of furniture jacks at the same time, I was able to jack up each end and get the arms on. Pictures of how to attach the legs, but they were already attached?? It looked really good but I thought where are the pillows?? After a lot of searching I discovered they were scrunched underneath the loveseat, inaccessible without once again, lifting it up 8" or so. Absolutely no instructions etc except the kindergarten level pictures and my fellow reviewers were mum about all this. So! Love the loveseat but setup needs some muscle! And better explanation of what to expect. I looked everywhere and found nothing about how to slide the arms on, just how to make it a bed. They were marked left and right but no marks on the loveseat. Serta site had nothing. But I got er done.

I purchased this to be a bed for guests in my small guest room/workshop. I was unsure about delivery as some websites listed this item coming in 2 packages. It was also noted that someone MUST be present for the delivery to occur. I was expecting it 3/27 and while I was going to be out of town for work I had planned to have my neighbor grab my garage door clicker and be the person for the delivery. Lo and behold I go home on Tuesday 3/25 for lunch to a massive box on a pallet at the base of the walkway to the front door. I have never notified about delivery from Amazon or the third party delivery team. I was (with difficulty) able to slide the box off the pallet onto a dolly. But then was unable to get enough weight/leverage to use the dolly. I got the package inside by rotating it onto an end and then sliding it into the house. Unfortunately I couldn’t fit the box into the room it was going in due to the narrow hallway with a turn in it (poor design for the house). It was well boxed for the most part- one section of the box was torn open, but there was a sheet type wrapping surround the couch. I was able to slide the box back to the living room to unpackage and get the arms and middle out and into the room. Directions were on the bottom of the box- which I didn’t need but is rather poor planning. I recommend having help with putting the piece together and moving. I’m 5’2” and decently strong but not a big person- I was able to do it all solo- but better as a 2-3 person job. It took about 45-50 minutes to unbox and put together. It would have been less if I hadn’t gotten trapped in the guest room and had to manipulate the box back to escape. Item instructions have a different product name on it than what is in the title of the item purchased- but appears to be the same thing. It’s fairly firm but not hard. It’s easy to switch between “modes” i think with better throw pillows it would be really nice for reading/ but right now I haven’t experimented with it much. It fits the space available nicely- I did have to rotate the table to the side of it and block the closet door from opening on one side. But I think it should be fine.

I love this couch, fits perfectly in my studio apartment. Delivery was great, the box is Very big and heavy, you will definitely need at least two to three people to help get it inside. The couch came assembled, all we had to do was attach the arms. The couch is firm but feels soft when touched, No problem, I like firm just get a mattress topper. The quality is fantastic you won't be disappointed. Will definitely order again.

We needed seating in our den and the pullout bed is great. It is perfect for us. We rarely have company but when we need an extra bed it's great. The bed is actually comfortable and easy to swt up. We are quite happy with it and it was a great price.

I ordered charcoal gray and received SOME UGLY SHADE OF BLUE ! Uckk ! Very hard and uncomfortable ! Not worth the $$
