This is a great shade and device protector for the RC 2 Controller. It appears high quality as if it is a DJI product. The installation for both the shade/cover and lanyard are straight forward and it doesn not obscure any functionality on the controller. It is super convenient (and protective) to hang the controller around your neck and not have to install, or worry about, the joysticks or screen. I did also install a screen protector by Cynova (Amazon) but I suspect the one that you can bundle with this would be fine as well.Some reviewers complained that either the main cover or flip up extra shade wouldn't stay in place. I haven't found that to be the case and they supplied a special screw driver to tighten the hinges should it become necessary. Once you figure out the packing strategy, it fits well in the Mini 4 Pro bag with everything that comes in the combo package (drone, batteris, charger bank, cables, propellers, etc.).The only issue for some may be that if you want to mount the controller on a handlebar, most adapters for this want to occupy the same space on the bottom of the controller so if you want to do this, you will most likely need to remove this cover. It would be great if they built the bottom of this unit with a female threaded camera mount on the bottom. However, removing and replacing the cover is quick and easy.

Full protection for the RC2, and fits like it was made by DJI. I installed this in minutes, including the neck strap. The cover closes with a snap, but releases with two fingers, and it KEEPS THE SUN OFF THE SCREEN! In addition, the STICK PROTECTORS keep the sticks free from accidental presses. I'll leave this ON the RC2 at all times.

This hood and protection for my drone controller fits very good and lets me see the screen better in bright sunlight it also protects the screen very good when I’m not using my controller. This is an important item to get if you are using the DJI RC2 controller. That's the one with the video screen.So when you are out on a trail going over rugged terrain, you need to be able to keep your hands free for safety, but you also need to be able to get to the controller quickly. In addition, bright sunlight can obscure images on the controller screen. This product solves all of those problems, and it is very inexpensive.The benefits:1. The strap is light weight and takes up very little room in the drone case or backpack. It's also very comfortable to wear and it is adjustable.2. The cover provides a shade to block sunlight and make the display easier to view.3. The cover is an important safety item because it covers the flight controls when closed, preventing spurious and unintentional commands while you are navigating your way over difficult terrain.4. The cover allows you to be safe and keep your hands free so that you can balance yourself if you stumble or fall along the way.5. The cover allows you to keep the screw-in joystick levers in place instead of having to remove them when you put the controller away.Disadvantages:1. NoneIn conclusion, I find this hood shade with lanyard to be an essential safety item for anyone who is going to be using a DJI drone with the RC2 controller in remote or difficult terrain. I am surprised that DJI doesn't have something like this as an included accessory, because without it or something similar, it's just too cumbersome. This product has made me feel safe, and far more comfortable and confident using my drone.

It installs on to the RC2 very good and makes it look very rugged I should say without adding much bulk. The thing I noticed though is that this is not for pinchers of the control sticks because, the hood gets in the way and. you almost have to have it at a really high angle, which defeats the purpose of blocking the sun from screen.If you don't pinch and just use your thumbs, then its a good solution for you.

Se adapta bien al control, la correa es sencilla pero por el precio del combo 10/10 para el sol y para cuidar el control es muy bueno, (las palancas tienen que estar montadas, el diseño lleva su espacio para protegerlo) pero yo no me confiaría.
