Great replacement to replenish very expensive name brand balls!
It's been hot and bananas have been going bad in just a couple of days. I took my son's old dorm mini-fridge and raised the temp. to about 60° to be kind of a "root cellar". Worked OK, except the odor of bananas was strong from the ethylene outgassing. I put one packet in the fridge and by the next day the odor was gone, so I know the packets work! I now keep potatos and carrots in there too...no more eyes growing, or mushy carrots!

Economical alternative
These are a more economical alternative to some other fruit/veggie drawer freshness aides out there. They are working very well after 3 months! No differences noticed from the name brand.
