i got this for a water pump that i changed, because i just changed the coolant before doing the pump, and the coolant was $120. i laid this on my drain pan, and used it to filter any dirt from the coolant. it worked excellent.

This is a well made filter material that can withstand my electroplating baths so far, in any case I can easily cut new filters as needed now that I have a good sized roll. I'm currently using it in only my nickel bath but I've briefly tried it in a copper bath and it seems to hold up. I will have to build a better filter cage before I can employ it permanently in the copper one. where I'm using a glass fiber filter which works kind of okay. I really like how strong this material is, it can tollerate some heat as well which is very very good for my use case.
