I used the shampoo and conditioner and did exactly as it said. Leave each on for 5 minutes My hair is much brighter and the brassiness has gone. It’s smells ok kind of fresh and my hair feels okay. I will probably uses every other wash - great price for these 2 so I didn’t expect much and I was really impressed 👍🏼

Fantastic purchase makes my hair go lighter! Now it can be used on blondes to get rid of a yellow tinge or on grays like me this blends my salt n pepper look lovely! Really good product at a fantastic price it’s consistency is not overly thick but not runny either, not leakage

Quite good product.

This product was good for adding moisture and it also had quite a nice rinse out, sometimes purple shampoo leaves you slightly discoloured or can discolour the bath/ shower. This product didn’t do this and left my hair shiney. However my hair didn’t appear any less yellow or toned and it didn’t appear to bring out my highlights however long a left it on. So to be mindful of this when purchasing it was good for moisture, although didn’t seem to tone on my hair. This could be my hair type and it would be interesting to read other reviews for other hair types and colours.

Stops hair going yellow and keeps it looking like I've just had it coloured.

Fantastic shampoo. My hair was squeaky clean after one wash. Haven’t noticed if it is lighter after one wash.

Obviously this is not going to lighten your hair without any active lightening ingredients, so ignore that claim. As a purple shampoo it works well to combat brassiness between visits, which is all you need from a purple shampoo, and why it was recommended to me. The Go Icy mask is also great, they work well together. I'd rate this higher if it only marketed itself as purple shampoo, but 2 stars deducted for the wild "lighten 1 to 2 shades" claim. It's so unnecessary. If this shampoo actually lightened your hair, then it would cause so much damage and you'd need to stop using it after a few weeks. Or if you're hair was not platinum already, it would turn orange because 1 or 2 shades is not enough lift for blonde results, especially if it's on your head for only 5 to 10 minutes. Don't fall for it.
