Buy half size down
I broke my fibula below the ankle and tore several ligaments and tendons as well as had several areas of micro fracturing on both tib/fib 3 months ago. I have been searching for comfortable shoes for PT. I have wide spread toes and narrow heels, and usually wear size 8 in either regular width for normal socks, or wide width for heavy socks or when I need to wrap or brace my ankles.I have been in a wheelchair for over 4 years from a previous injury and have been learning how to walk properly again and maintain balance. Initially, I tried Brooks running shoes for the lighter weight and the extra supportive soles, but they were so uncomfortable around my scars and along the tops of my feet.I had kept coming back to these every time I looked at shoes. So I ordered a pair of 8 wide as I am still frequently bracing and/or wrapping my ankles. They were simply too long lengthwise, so I returned them. I was going to go down a full size and I am so glad I only went half. The 7.5 wide feel great! They are nearly as lightweight as the Brooks and very supportive both inside the shoes and the tread gives super stability. Both pair were consistent in quality of materials and manufacture. Plus, the price point is great. They are available in so many fun colors that it was a tough choice. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and this will be my first choice when it comes time to find a new pair.

Thickness of the shoes
My podiatrist recommended these shoes because they're easy on the feet especially those of us who have issues with our feet I like because I could stand in these shoes for long period of time without pain walking without pain I'm impressed these are the best shoes I have ever owned and because of that I bought a second pair I'm extremely happy with my purchase and anyone who has arthritic feet I highly recommend these you'll be pleasantly surprised just how comfortable they are and check with your podiatrist first to make sure that these are the suitable shoes for you and hopefully you'll enjoy them I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase best purchase ever and I like the fact that they were the best value for your money walking standing without pain you got my vote at 100% these are the best shoes I believe on the market

Runs Small.
I ordered this shoe in red. Very cute. I buy Asics almost exclusively for my walking shoes. They are comfortable and durable. I never get blisters. My foot is quite narrow. I made a mistake keeping this size, however. My foot is a size 7.5 (U.S) but some of my Asics are 8 and some are 7.5. It seems to depend on the model of the Asics shoe, and even the model version/number. I wish I had returned this pair and gotten the larger size. My toes touch the front of the toe box. I’m hoping they will stretch out with use. For now I’m just wearing them around town and not using them for my daily walk. Next time I will be more decisive and take advantage of return policies. I will stick with Asics though, because I think they are a good value for my money.

Get them!
Affordable, feels great on my feet and I got a couple of compliments on the color. I need a shoe that supports, and this one is great, very comfortable for my 3-mile walks in the am.

Good for trails.
Love the shoes. They are light weight. I have walked on two trails one in the rain and after rain when the ground was muddy. The shoes provided good grip and secure around the ankles. I do suggest using insole inserts if you have plantar fasciitis.

Bright and cheerful shoes
I purchased these for my mom. She was having trouble finding shoes with color; apparently beige/white/black are in and color is out. She needed a wide width and ASICS has what she needed. They're very bright and cheery.

Not a perfect 7.5 on the fence if I would buy again
I love the design, but I am not too happy with the fit. I've always been a 7.5 on tennis, at least on Keen, Bogs and Tevas and all other shoe types, but this was not the case for this Asics. Although, I admit I am an 8 in Reebok and Nike slender toebox tennis. This are too tight on the toes overall including the big toe, like if they would be a half size smaller than what I need. I have slender feet yet 4 long toes and 1 tiny one, so I didn't think I needed the wide version. I am not sure if the Wide would have been best for me, or an 8 given the shoe feels tight all over. That's the thing with buying shoes online. Returning the item is not a possibility for me unfortunately. I hope they stretch some with time through wear and water. Also, these are really flat on the back heel, they are cushy inside all over, the sole is well made, but they lack the flexibility and breathability of Keen's or Tevas. They are quite warm inside and that is something I don't usually notice on tennis. Maybe I would go for an 8 next time, and ad a heel insert to see if that works for me. The stitching and material is of high quality and they look nice. They look kind of bulky yet they are narrow inside due to the cushioning. The sole is anti slip and well made. I would love them if the 7.5 was slightly larger without having to be a Wide Version, if there was more heel support, a tad more flexibility in the step, and more breathability. Materials are high quality as well as the look and cushioning inside (except for lack of heel support).UPDATE: I also bought a 7.5 wide and they fit just right with thin socks. But my mom that wears 7.5 but does have wide chunky feet, found them too small and narrow to wear. The Keens and Tevas in 7.5 do fit her perfectly. With use the 2 Asics I purchased stretched some in about 2 weeks and became more flexible on the step. Still this one that was not a 7.5 wide is too tight for me and not comfortable to wear for long hours. I'll try my luck with Skechers ...

Wonderful shoes
I am never sure about ordering shoes online. My feet are wider than many of the shoes online for ladies. I had an ankle fusion on one ankle and consequently that foot is a half-size bigger and wider. I got them this morning, and I have been wearing them all day. Very comfortable and very fashionable. Very nice for the price. They work better than my high-cost orthopedic trainers.
