good purchase
This thing is a beast. Well made and works very well as long as you don't get too aggressive. I love the multi-sided cutter heads. I've used it for about 4 hours so far and it still cuts as smoothly as it did out of the box. Definitely a good value for the money

Smooth surface
Worked good for me. Left a smooth surface on end grain.

Very smooth, but need more power
Update.... this bit will not seat all the way to the line in a Triton T001 router! The triton collet is only 1 1/4" deep and the bit requires 1 1/2"! I have been buying the Binstak 3 blade from Amazon for $17, it's fine but thought I'd try this upgrade. I just flattened a 7' epoxy river table , here is my experience. I have a Bosch 1617 2 1/4 hp router and I will say it's not quite enough power for this bit imo. It's fine as long as you don't take off more than 1/64 or 1/32 max. It handles the wood at that depth fine, but started to bog down on the epoxy at the 1/32 depth. I will say that it cuts very smooth, no vibration and leaves a lot less marks than the cheaper Binstak one. I flattened both sides and it still had sharp enough blades that I think I can keep using it on the next slab. Summary, I like it better for sure, but may need to upgrade to a 3 hp router if I want to get more aggressive and take off 1/32 to 1/8 at a time. Or I may use the Binstak for initial aggressive passes and then switch to this one for finishing passes.

Great slab flattening bit
I'm using this to flatten a black walnut cookie on a router sled. This thing cuts effortlessly, no chatter, clean SMOOTH lines which means less sanding for me. We'll worth the price, and it's nicely manufactured (have a degree in precision machining, have used PLENTY of cheap bits and very expensive bits)

Don’t buy the 20 dollar bit!
Used this to flatten a few slabs I have. Took a ton of wood off and the first blade is still sharp, I have not rotated them yet. For the hobbiest, this bit will last years. Took 3 cheap bits to do this on my last project. On my Bosch router I used setting 3 and worked front to back right to left and this thing eats walnut. Also the bit is cool to the touch and still sharp after 40sf of slab and taking an 1/8” or more on each pass. Cool bit means it will last a very long time. Would buy again.

Good product for the money.
I’m using this bit to flatten oak wood cookies and it works great in my 2 1/2 hp fixed base router. I’ve flattened about 100 cookies so far (4’ to 12 inch diameters) on both sides and the bit is as sharp as when I flattened the first cookie. I have not replaced or rotated any of the carbide inserts yet. The surface is not perfectly smooth but the router marks are easily removed with a random orbit sander.

Makes a great addition to my router bit collection
I built a router sled and used this bit in my router to flatten several twisted planks. It worked great. I tried not to take off more than 1mm at a time.

Awesome cutterhead.
That thing looks mean for a reason....it is. Put it on my router and did test passes on some Amarone and walnut. For a 1/4" pass it didn't so much flinch going through it. the cut is super clean and precise. would take 75% cut width with almost no feedback from the router. It just eats the wood likes its his last meal. the bit is well balanced and didn't vibrate, or at least I could't detect any bad vibrations. Get yourself 12$ worth of spare inserts for good measure and just flatten away. That thing is a steal with similar items going for 50$ more.
