Wise and Otherwise - A Salute to life

Love it Love it Love it... Its all worth to have this , i would recommend this book as a must read for all. Such an enlightenment to soul, mind and questions!!

This is one of the finest book of short stories arising from day to day lives. Sudha Murthy has truly captured the essence from the everyday events, journey of life and rendered in simple language. After Khushwant Singh this is second author who has attempted to write it in a simple but lucid language which is easy to read and leaves impact on a reader. Every story has a message and moral. I look forward to similar books which are light and strengthen our moral attitude in life. Jayendra Pandya

Simple English and life experience stories so I liked it . I read dollar bahu and how I taught my grand mother . I liked both . Heart teaching stories.

I really enjoyed the book. It was a quick read. The stories or anecdotes were in a way moral lessons on how to lead one's life. Mr Murthy was lucky to have a wife like Sudha Murthy. Even with so much wealth she leads a very normal life and uses the wealth created as means to benefit the society. A couple whose life one should aspire to emulate in all respects.

Have read 'The Day I stopped drinking milk' and 'Wise & Otherwise' from the same Author and both have been great investments... One can very well see the philanthropic side of the author & its really enlightening to learn from the first hand experiences of the author. Highly recommend to anybody want to learn some great life lessons & have fun at that.. My 5 stars..

I have recently read two of Sudha Murthy's books - this and The Old Man and his God. These books are short stories or rather the author's life experiences. Very simply written, these are powerful narratives, very touching and humbling. It is incredible that Ms Murhty has managed such diverse and unique experiences in her lifetime. These two books are some of the best I have ever read.

One must read this to know the various facets of life and humans who make them. Thanks to the author who is so kind hearted.

The paper qualities so good and the written price in this book is 300 while I got it in 215 something and that's very affordable price anyone can buy it and it's fragnance is unbelievable , very good The delivery men was also good even while I was busy somewhere else he called me and called me after that when I saw , I call him and he give me the parcel and at last thank you Amazon For this fabulous parcel.
