These biscuits come individually wrapped in cellophane, then 4 x individuals are grouped together into 6 x vacuum sealed foil packs. Giving you a total of 24 biscuits altogether; packaged into a novelty tin. Sadly my tin was delivered by Royal Mail and not an Amazon driver so it was a bit bashed at one end and I had to 'adjust' it with some pliers to get the lid to slide on and stay put as it's designed to. The tin itself is a bit weak and the sliding lid is more of a novelty than anything, it won't last but still a nice touch As for the biscuits themselves? I'll admit I had to try one and it wasn't too bad. Kinda like a really hard shortbread with less sugar, so I thought I'd have another... You know, just to be sure. I don't recommend eating 2 biscuits back to back like that, as after finishing my second I noticed a bit of an aftertaste. I had mine early instead of breakfast and normally by lunchtime I'm starving, but I had no appetite for any food for lunch, normally I'd take a nap after lunch but that didn't happen either, I was sort of fidgety. My appetite finally returned around 6pm. To be fair these are high energy foods and I was just sitting at my desk but I'll say that 2 x biscuits was definitely enough to see me through til dinner. They're supposed to be 1 x biscuit every 6 hours for your daily rations, but 2 alone was plenty for me just sitting at a desk to see me through. If you have one every 4 hours, there should be enough in the tin for 6 days, so if you had these in your pack and something happened and you needed to wait to be rescued, you could ration them much further at a push. Or use them as compact, lightweight, high energy food if you're hiking miles and miles with a heavy pack. Currently priced at forty quid they seem expensive but when you break it down that's just over £6.50 a day for 6 days or £1.67 per meal (about the same price as a bag of chips), but these will last for 20 years... How much will a bag of chips cost in 2044 I wonder. So long as there's an alien invasion or zombie outbreak in the next 20 years, I should be okay for the first week.
