A modern slim with room to move, the 511 Slim Fit Chinos are a classic since right now. These pants sit below the waist with a slim leg from hip to ankle. The narrow leg means endless style options for pairing with sneakers or oxfords.

Great Pants for Work or the Weekend
I really loved these pants until I tripped and ripped a hole in the knee, so much so that I still wear them regardless. They're nice chinos that go well either at work or on the weekends. They're slim, but not skinny, and they fit pretty well. They do seem to run a little long, but I mostly wear them with a pair of boots so I just cuff them a bit.The material is pretty thick and sturdy, and the construction is great. I never had an issue with loose strings or weird seams. They also hold up pretty well without ironing; I wouldn't call them "wrinkle-free," but for most casual purposes you won't need to iron them.Overall, they're great pants and I'll probably order another pair at some point.

Love these pants
Love these pants. Great for a business casual work environment as well as for a night out. Definitely slim fit and look good. Other slim fit pants are more boot cut and are too wide at the end, these aren't. Tight to your body so they're good for bike commuting too. A little pricey, but worth it.

Well made and good looking
I was hoping they were a little slimmer in the hips and seat as I am very skinny through there. Other than that, the waist and length are spot in. They are good looking pants and seem like they will hold up well.

Versatile and comfortable
These pants are perfect for both casual and business casual wear. I had to exchange for one size smaller in the waist, but so far I am very happy with both the style and feel (not too slim, but not baggy). If you're like me and want a pair of pants that aren't too casual nor too formal that you can wear in any setting, I would recommend.

Feel More Like Jeans Than Chinos
These are basically just jeans, not true chinos. I ordered them in Nightwatch Blue and upon opening the package, the material looked like dark blue jeans. They do have chino-style pockets and buttons, but the material looks, feels, and drapes like denim. Also, I wear 511's almost every day and the fit is usually pretty consistent -- these, however, are wider in the thigh and at the bottom opening. Will be returning.

while fitting like jeans. I bought these in two colors-- one ...
These fit so excellently and look just "formal" enough, while fitting like jeans. I bought these in two colors-- one for wearing on a 10 hour airplane flight and one for wearing out. Once I saw how good they looked, I left all my formal, but not as comfortable, regular slacks AT HOME and saved suitcase space for other things. I pretty much buy all my pants from Levi's in this cut-- I don't have to try them on, as long as Levis doesn't change the fit. Other styles don't work as well for me, so I'm pretty much locked in, and happily so.

Best pants ever
I just ordered a pair of these to update the 2 pairs I already have. I've been wearing them to work the past 3.5 years. Honestly the best work pants I've ever owned. Only thing is they don't say their exact style on them. I ordered this pair because I was pretty sure they were the ones I was looking for. They are! I can't tell you how thrilled I am to have found them. I will be ordering another pair. These pants are very durable for chinos. I wear them in the kitchen 60+ hours a week. After 3+ years of use, a button fell off one of the pairs. That's it. You can obviously tell that they have been washed a lot. But they have stood up to a beating. These pants are terrific. I think I may order a few more to wear outside of work too!

Sizing and Color Fading
Just purchased these chinos. They are very similar to Levi's 511 pants that I have purchased in the past. The only difference I see are the back pockets. These chinos run larger in size than the 511 pants. A 33" waist in the pants fits well, a 32" waist in the chinos fit the same as the 33" pants. I did not lose an inch, the garment sizing changed. The pants also faded in color quite a bit and show signs of wear in some places over three years. I see no difference in the material of the 511 pants and chinos, so I expect the chinos to fade and wear similarly. They are definitely not as durable as denim. I would still recommend buying, they fit well and look good, for about three years.
