Got this for my 2 year old with sensory needs to add something cosy and comforting to his bedtime routine and add another aspect of control he has over his own day, and he LOVES his Chickie. At bedtime we make sure Chickie is sat waiting on his bed for him as he comes upstairs, and he happily runs to his bed and gets comfy, tapping the soft outer layer to turn the light dim, then off, then on again while he gets read his bedtime story. Once he is done he puts Chickie down next to his bed and rolls over ready to fall asleep after a bit of wiggling and singing to himself. The battery lasts forever, he uses it every night and I've only had to charge it once the other day, especially if you use the timer mode, and it will turn off after a short period of no input/tapping. Perfect for bedtime. It's very durable so I'd not need to buy another but I think I will just to make sure we have backup since our boy loves it SO much. Lovely warm, soft light even on the brighter setting, but enough to see what you're doing. Doesn't wake him up if I accidentally turn it on while checking on him before we go to bed ourselves.

We love our Dodo so much, such a cute face, feels like nice quality, and has been going strong for over a year of consistent use! It has two brightness settings and recharges with USB-C cable. 11/10 would recommend. A note: do charge it from the wall, rather than from a laptop, as the lower voltage can mess with the power cycling (it’s fixable if you just plug it back into the wall!)

The duck is very cute looking, he emits a very good amount of light. The duck is also tactile so our child loves giving the duck a squeeze. No cables to get tangled in and no hot bulb so it was a win for safety for us! The duck also does not have an overpowering smell and when handled did not leave a smell on hands.

Works well, it's cute and a bit more substance that I was expecting. usb-c charging too.

A rare online purchase which looks exactly the same in my house as it does in the pictures. Super cute though probably a touch overpriced. Having said that I would buy again, although there is no way of knowing how long it will work for. The picture is taken on my dining table so you can see it's identical to the picture in the listing

枕元に置く為に購入。小さくてもしっかり照らしてくれます。スイッチがボタン式だと暗がりで探す時間が面倒ですがこれは掴むとあかりが付いてくれるので便利。しかもシリコンなので触り心地が最高。デザインがめっちゃ可愛くて見てるだけで癒されます。買って本当によかった！

Ich habe sie das erste Mal bei einer TikTokerin gesehen und fand sie auf Anhieb so niedlich, dass ich unbedingt herausfinden wollte, woher sie ist. Über die Bildersuche bin ich schließlich bei Amazon gelandet – und als ich gesehen habe, wie günstig sie ist, konnte ich einfach nicht widerstehen. Ein Klick, bestellt – und schon ein paar Tage später stand sie vor mir. Und was soll ich sagen? In echt ist sie sogar noch süßer als auf den Fotos! Die Ente sitzt jetzt auf meinem Schreibtisch und zaubert mir jedes Mal ein Lächeln ins Gesicht, wenn ich sie ansehe. Sie ist einfach ein richtiger kleiner „Mood-Booster“ – dekorativ, witzig und trotzdem richtig praktisch. Die Bedienung ist super unkompliziert: Man kann die Lampe mit einer einfachen Berührung an- und ausschalten, und sogar dimmen. Das finde ich klasse, weil ich je nach Stimmung oder Tageszeit eine andere Helligkeit brauche – manchmal eher gemütlich schummrig, manchmal etwas heller zum Arbeiten. Alles funktioniert problemlos und reagiert sofort auf die Berührung. Auch praktisch: Die Ente wird per USB-Kabel aufgeladen, sodass sie kein Kabel benötigt, wenn sie in Betrieb ist. Ich nutze sie meistens stationär auf dem Schreibtisch, aber theoretisch könnte man sie auch einfach mitnehmen, z. B. ins Schlafzimmer oder ins Wohnzimmer, ohne dass man eine Steckdose in der Nähe haben muss. Das macht sie unglaublich flexibel. Die Verarbeitung ist besser, als ich bei dem Preis erwartet hätte. Das Material fühlt sich angenehm an, die Lampe wirkt stabil und keineswegs billig. Ich war wirklich überrascht, wie hochwertig sie aussieht. Fazit: Für mich ist es ein perfektes kleines Accessoire – dekorativ, funktional und einfach nur zum Verlieben. Ich bin richtig happy mit meinem Kauf und würde sie jederzeit wieder bestellen. Absolute Kaufempfehlung für alle, die ihr Zuhause mit etwas Süßem, Praktischem und Stimmungsvollem verschönern wollen!

It's very sensitive. You can tap the table it stands on, and it will turn on and off, which can be advantageous. It's not too bright, so it works excellent as a night light. I love the mellow yellow color, and the price is good.
