RunStar Smart Scale with BMI, Body Fat, Muscle Mass FSA Eligible HSA, 400lb

I've been using this scale for about four months, and I like it a lot. Provides a lot of useful information and insights into what's going on in your body. Like any tool you have to learn how to use it and there is some deciphering of the metrics you'll need to do. Fat % can swing a bit from day to day, which is not necessarily fat that it's measuring. But when you compare it with water % things begin to make more sense. It's not 100% accurate but it does provide some valuable trends. I'm glad I bought it.

I'm loving my RunStar digital bathroom scale. The scale provide you with your Water Content, Body Fat Mass, Bone Mass, Protein Mass, Weight, BMI, Body Fate Percentage, Muscle, Lean body Mass, Subcutaneous Fat, Visceral Fat, Body Water, Skeletal Muscle Fat, Muscle mass, Bone Mass, Protein, Basal Metabolism, Body Age, waist -to-hip ratio, Body fat mass, water content, Protein Mass, Standard Weight, Obesity Level, Obesity Type, and Limb Data. This scale offers everything you need to know and want to know about your body. It can even set your goal weight after taking all your measurements. This scale is amazing. Oh.. I have difficulty figuring out how to set up the scale, connecting the RunStar app on my phone to the scale. But Sophie (Customer support) patiently assisted me and got me up and running in no time. Scale doesn’t seem to actually scan with handle. Gave same exact body fat % for wildly different weights over multiple days. The app ‘stats’ are a complete joke and are just calculated estimates that will force a ‘balanced’ fat distribution even if you are an obvious pear shape. Breast tissue is also deemed visceral fat so it’ll scare you with a crazy high number if you’re well endowed. GE makes a better (and cheaper) scale.

I bought the RunStar Digital Bathroom Scale model FG2211LB with 8 electrodes back in 2024. So, more than two years using this device to track my fitness health, specially body weight loss, and it just provides exactly what I needed. It keeps your records through the Fitdays app and compares your measurements from time to time, even providing trending charts for different indicators as body fat, muscle mass, water rates, visceral fat, body age, among others. Also, their lifetime warranty is just an amazing deal and shows they’re customer oriented! Do not forget to activate your extended life time warranty once you get yours!

The bar for measuring body fat and muscle is touchy and difficult to get a reading on. It is easy to pull the handle out too far and then you have to manually push the cord in each time. The cover for the back doesn’t stay on even when it has been locked in place. I believe there has to be better scales out there.
