Provided the right protection in extreme desert weather.
Exactly what I needed to protect my potted plants from the extreme desert UV exposure. It also worked as a windbreaker and kept my plants from breaking or being swept away in 25 mph or more wind storms. The existing grommets held up well, but I also added more clip-on attachments for a more secure hold on my trellis.

My little plants needed a break from the sun's strong rays, and this product did the job. It gave the baby plants in my herb garden a chance to mature.

Happy plants. My full sun plants prefer a tad of shade and this 30% shade cloth work perfectly.

Hot in Arizona. Chickens love the shade.

Needs a higher percentage of shade blocking.
The material is very thin and only really serves its purpose when it is doubled or folded. As a single layer, it offers little to no protection. I would not recommend this for blazing desert heat or areas with temperatures above 80 degrees. Honestly, even the insects are complaining.

Great for shading plants
Used this product for acclimating Clivia plants to their summer put-of-doors location. Usually some of the leaves get sunburned no matter how we try to locate them in some shade. So we were very pleased with the performance of this shade netting.
