Best EDC for me for $
Can’t say enough good things about this knife. Stupid value for the money. I’ve carried a ton of different knives, but this is now my go-to. I don’t poop the bed over the D2 like some folks, but it is a good steel that holds its edge. Unlike what I’ve read out there, though, you can sharpen it easily on your normal whetstones. I tune mine up with a 3000/6000 grit and then give it a couple passes on a strop and it stays shaving-sharp for weeks.Fantastic weight and feel. I seriously haven’t seen this quality for the price since CRKT got big.

Nice EDC knife
Great fit and finish. Blade was perfectly sharp out of the box. The handle material is smooth which should be easy on clothes pockets, but not as grippy as I'd like. Taiwan made from a USA company.

Beautiful knife.
Love everything about this one for the price. ..and I own a lot of great, more expensive, knives. This is the one I carry. Perfect EDC size. Light weight, not bulky, but fits my hand very comfortably. Blade shape and length are excellent. The not-so-tactical/survival, thinner blade is what I have been looking for for a long time. Perfect for random kitchen tasks, or other slicing jobs. Very sharp, beautiful edge. And the D2 tool steel is the way to go if you don't want to oil your blade, but you want the edge of high carbon steel. Just keep it clean and it won't rust.

Still one of my Favs for EDC
This has been a favorite for an EDC "beater" knife. The D2 steel is pretty decent in edge retention and the slim profile of the knife makes it easy to carry. For the $$, it's a good choice.

Best bang for buck folding knife
Very plain looking knife but the performance is nothing but that. Razor sharp out of the box. It holds an edge fairly well and it is easy enough to sharpen. My go to edc knife.Opening and closing knife is smooth and quick. With very sturdy locking mechanism. Going to purchase a few more when the funds come in.

Nice EDC knife for the money
Needed a new pocket folder for every day use, don't want to invest in high cost knives due to losing them at stadiums, arenas, airports, etc. Knife is solid. Cross lock works well, scales have good texture for grip, blade arrived sharp (extremely sharp after a quick hone). Value for money is outstanding. I don't want to lose this one but won't weep if it gets confiscated due to my bone-headed forgetfullness.

Deserves it's reputation
I received the RAT-2, D2 steel, G10 scales in Coyote brown. Am very pleased with it.1. Excellent ergonomics, comfortable in hand.2. Very smooth action.3. Blade centered, no wiggle in any direction.4.Long studs, very accessible for operation.5.Good grip purchase.6.Great finish, part alignment & quality control, perfect fit/finish.7. No blade tip projection.Definitely recommend.

Hi Maintenance
I bought this to be my everyday carry knife in April of 2019, today I put it in the trash, that was hard to do since I'm frugal and the knife has done it's job admirably, but I need to upgrade. The carbon blade held a great edge and was relatively easy to sharpen, single hand opening was intuitive and easy, the liner lock worked well...as long I kept it lint free. I didn't realize that you need to frequently tighten the hinge of the knife, the blade once opened slightly in my pocket and I was unaware until I reached in and sliced my hand. I tried to keep it tight from then on, maybe should have used lock tight., but didn't because of the other issue and that was rust. Every few months I needed to take the knife apart and clean it with steel wool or scotchbrite to remove the rust, but it would also rust inside the liner lock which was challenging to clean. I tried to keep it lightly oiled. In hindsight I should have gotten the AUS-8 blade. I'm just an average guy that appreciates quality tools, I've never had a knife that required this much maintenance.
