The grill comes in one heavy box. So it’s recommended to remove the parts to the place you’re going to use it. It’s well made and the parts all fit together perfectly. The assembly went well.I’ve used it several times and it gets hot really quickly. I’m happy with it.

Nice product. It was actually not hard to put together. The directions were simple to follow.The only issue is had was the package that contained the screws, washers, etc. The paperback separated from the plastic. I was locating screws in the box and actually lost the single washer that I needed.Overall I'm happy with the grill.

My brother recommended this to me and I have to say it cooks nicely. Cleanup is supposed to be on cool grill since it is enameled steel, but I have trouble getting it clean that way. I’m gonna try some other ways like steam and see if that is better. The Infrared setup does give nice, even heating. Grill is sturdy and assembly was pretty straightforward. I’d probably suggest getting a grill cover from CharBroil that exactly fits the grill. The more generic one we bought works ok but is a bit bulky to put on.

No damage looks great

In love with this grill! Feels very heavy duty. The cast iron cooktop does rust very easily so we keep it in the garage instead of the given storage spot in the grill (even though we have grill covered whenever we're not using it). Assembly was standard. Easy to remove all cooking surface pieces for cleaning.

Really enjoying the grill, love the different configurations, well crafted griddle, solid construction of grill as a whole.

I'm a bit conflicted about this grill. And frustrated the reviews I watched didn't mention a very significant detail. This Amplifire/Infrared tech really changes the whole grilling experience. I feel almost as though I'm not grilling. But it does still cook things well.The main issue is that the fire is covered. You don't see it, you don't feel it. There are grilling grates but they sit over a long sheet of metal. That really kills the grilling experience. You might as well throw you steak on your oven grates. And it's not optional since without it, there's nothing covering the burners.Also, I've had an issue where I turn on the grill and about 70% of the time, it's very low. Since I can't see the flames, I don't notice until about 5 minutes later when I see my steaks are still cold. I simple restart usually fixes the problem but it's still annoying when I'm trying to time everything to be done at the same time. There are small ventilation holes where you can peek in but its hard to distinguish a small flame from a strong one through the tiny opening. I'm trying to get used to the sound difference so I can tell when it has actually kicked on full blast.Oh, and that long sheet of metal makes it more complicated to clean.

Just finished assembly and all seems as it should. This is my second infared Charbroil grill. The first lasted 10 years with only the replacement of the grates several times. This newer model although made with more plastic seems to be better constructed. Porcelain coating on the grates, smarter striker, flat top grill included, large set of wheels for moving, and more room between the grill and the warming rack. I was able to use my last natural gas conversion with the new model as it does not need any diaphragm modifications simply connect the flex line. Assembly took some time but nothing crazy. It does take two folks for several of the movements. I'm expecting this grill to last for years to come. In addition, for the money and for the grilling results it's an easy recommendation.
