It’s made of some sort of acrylic material - the finishing isn’t up to the mark, see images attached. The joints at the corners aren’t pasted properly. But if you don’t intend to touch it daily, it does the job well.

Perfect for my living room
Although it took me longer than advertised to get the case together (I am mechanically-challenged), I was able to get it done by myself in a couple of hours and it looks wonderful in my living room protecting a miniature bookstore that my grandson painstakingly put together and that I am proud to display. This Christmas he got me a similar kit of a grand piano, and when he gets that put together I intend to purchase a duplicate acrylic case for displaying it.

High Quality!
Probably the best acrylic boxes constructed! All edges/corners cut on a 45 degree angle! It's the reason for the higher price! Unfortunately I had to return them because of a different project in mind! Don't hesitate to purchase this acrylic box, because the quality is there! You won't be disappointed!

Worked perfect
I used this box as part of a Hole-In-One keepsake I made for my boyfriend. It was the perfect size for the design I had in mind and it looks great in the finished product.. It came assembled and it did take me a moment to figure out that all you need to do is gently hold two opposing sides and the top slides right off. Assembly is just as easy. Align the top and bottom and gently lower the top. That's it! Once assembled the box is sturdy enough to provide reasonable protection for your item.Definitely a good value for the price
