So this was not the miracle foam board cutter I was hoping for. The blade would not stay put in the device and would “slide” back. I burned myself several times trying to put it back in place so the heat was pretty good lol. The cutting was choppy and jagged. Wish I had taken a pic of the edge of the foam board project I was trying to cut out. I finally decided to super glue the blade in place, however once I did that, it sort of “popped” and whole thing turned off and stopped working! So MY BAD- however if the blade would’ve just stay put, I’d still have this device. No worries tho- it really wasn’t that great of a product. I just threw it away. Since writing the above review, the company contacted me and offered me a FULL REFUND on this item! Very impressive!

Never worked properly from day 1. Heated up once. Blade wouldn’t tighten down. Then threads stripped out. Then wouldn’t heat up after that. Wasted couple hours of work trying to use it. Cheap product. Do not recommend. Tried to save money with it but just wasted my time.

Works really well on crafting pumpkins the only issue is that the knife part comes loose so you have to tighten using pliers while in use and the knife is hot I really like the tool happy with my purchase

Bought it for cutting mesh type ribbon for wreaths so it wouldn't fray. It got hot enough but doesn't prevent fraying.

Needed to cut thru plastic panel in my car, worked great 👍

Other than the bad instructions which took a while to figure out got to connect the blade, the knife worked well. Need to go slow when cutting thick plastic sheet but it came out clean. I put the sheet on a wooden plank and then put pressure with the hot knife to cut the sheet.

The threads on one of the cutting blades snapped off as I was using it. If I can remove the broken stub, it may still work. Definitely for light duty applications,

Definitely gets hot. But the blades were very sharp but kept falling off.

It's 19 Canadian dollars. And it gets hot. Those are the features you get for $19 You want an on off switch? GTFO with your on off. Unplug it now its off . You want a temperature display? Why? It's hot. That's all you need to know. You want like an LED indicator to tell you it's on or maybe changes color from when it's ready or when it's cooled off. You best win the lottery and spend $22 on the upgraded model. There's no features for $19. You're just going to do dabs with it anyway, we all know why your really buying it

It does what is supposed to. Perfect for my 3D printing. Gets really hot. Be careful. I should use work gloves with it. Make sure the blade is really tight before you turn it on. Cause you cannot tighten it once it's hot. It slices and dices. Clean cuts, clean holes, whatever you need to edit your prints this thing can do it. Hotter than the devil's... You'll be happy 😊

The knife would not cut through the pumpkin so it was useless. We submitted a return/refund request to Amazon. Their contractor (Dragonfly) picked up the package, but our return still shows as not returned. Amazon told us the driver did not scan the item upon picking the item up, so they can't issue the refund. If Amazon knows the item was picked up, why can't they issue the refund!!!!!

I'm changing my review as customer service got in touch with me after I left first review and offered a refund. I didn't expect or think it fair they give me a refund. Though it didn't work for what I originally bought it for I might use it for a less challenging project in the future. Reason I didn't change it to 5 stars it didn't work on hard thick plastic otherwise I would give it and customer service 5 Stars
