Does this need to be refrigerated after opening?

Yes! Needs refrigeration. It will also taste better if one adds rice vinegar to portions of it to keep the heat down improves the taste as well.

is there a pump that fits the top?

there was no pump included with my order. but i usually pour about a half pound of sambal oelek into a small jar and and keep it in the kitchen. then i can use the small jar to add sambal to my food.

Can you portion this & freeze it?

Portioning is easy. I do this already into quart jars which are much easier to deal with on a every meal basis. Not sure how well it freezes and thaws.
