The Sausage Maker - TWO PACK Home Pack Natural Sheep Sausage Casings (2)

Very disappointed with these casings. Most of what I got were short lengths, less than 32". That makes for tedious work trying to get them all loaded onto a stuffing tube. Many were extremely narrow and thin, as well, with lots of holes. Many had "threads" hanging off them which wrapped around the casings and cut them off. Just poor quality overall. I expect better from Sausage Maker, who charges a premium for their stuff. I will NOT order these again, and will try a different brand. I've used Sausage Maker stuff exclusively for years, but believe their quality has sharply declined, and due to costs, are giving out cheaper quality items.

Decent Quality but Tears Easily. The sheep casing is okay, but I found it tears quite a bit when making firmly stuffed sausages, which can be frustrating and time-consuming. However, if you prefer making sausages with a looser fill, it might work better. Just be prepared for a bit of trial and error.

Casings are cut in approximately 24” strands which make it very time consuming. I would much rather have a long strand so you can just go and get done. Casing strength was also an issue, they were very prone to bursting while stuffing. Overall I would not buy these again, I would stick to the other brands I’ve used in the past for ease of use and overall quality of strength. Taste was 5 star

More lengths are very short. 3 feet or shorter. I would say the average is 2 feet. Very disappointed. Could not be more disappointed in this product. It is like this is the scrap pieces.
