I love this little Vox amPlug 3. I can put it in my bass case pocket and along with one of my headsets, allows me to practice anytime I want, without disturbing anyone else in my home or wherever. It's extremely light, and reliable (so far). I love the adjustability of it, with all the different eq settings, etc. I've found it to be compatible even with my other stringed instruments, such as one of my Ukulele Basses, Mandolins, Lap Steel Guitars and Telecaster Guitar... though the higher frequencies don't come through as "clean" as probably the other series of Vox amPlugs would that are purpose made for electric guitars, etc. I've had No "issues" with connectivity with any of the output jacks in Any of my electric basses, or other stringed instruments. I will be ordering at least one more Vox amPlug, made for electric 6 string guitar. It's definitely a great value, not only for the money, but for the freedom it gives and allows you to play or practice, anytime, anywhere.. should you need to without disturbing others. If you're currently hesitating... don't, just get one for your situation and you'll be thankful that you did... I know my wife is, that I did. LOL

Feels very cheaply made. Taking it out of the package it felt like it was gonna fall apart. The sound quality is pretty impressive for it being what it is. Other than feeling cheap, it does it's job and sounds wonderful.

The quality of this little lamp becomes apparent once you put your headphones on. Great tone control and super portable. No distortion for the most part unless you get too close to other electronics. Looks super cool. There's definitely value here however both the box and the Black Star seem to feel very cheap and chintzy. They both work great and I would highly recommend them but for the price I would expect them to be a bit more durable.

Great tool to practice in apartment complex. Great sound!!! Very pleased with the high quality sound for the money value. Operation is easy and efficient.

Coolest lil thing I’ve ever bought for practicing my bass while traveling. Sounds good and I’m using some $20 headphones I picked up here on Amazon, great idea for playing or just practicing with out bothering others around you.

Great practice amp for beginners and apartment dwellers. Personally I find myself only using this when a special need arises. If I'm not out and about, I would much rather use a 40w+ practice amp with a headphone output. But this is amazing for practicing while traveling or being mobile in a space without expensive gear. The built in beats & metronome are very good for practicing timing. The onboard tone settings aren't for me, but I could see them being useful in niche cases. There's a lot of little hidden options and settings that let you do more with your amp but you need to decode them from online information. Battery life is shorter than expected at about 7 hours on two AAA alkaline batteries. That's about $1-3 a week in batteries which isn't the end of the world. I see some benefits of hot swappable & lightweight batteries compared to an onboard rechargeable lithium battery. But personally I'd rather have the onboard battery even if it adds weight. Sound quality was not as good as I expected. Reviewers were saying "sound quality is amazing" without qualifying that is "for a small mobile amp." Sound quality is like using a 15w practice amp. The max volume is a bit weak as well. You can definitely use this amp to practice getting timing and finger positions down. But you can't practicing for tone and emphasis. This is slightly awkward to use on bass guitars with the jack on the front instead of on the edge such as Fender Jazz, Fender Precision, Ibanez S series, or Epiphone Sheraton. With jacks on the front you can't adjust the amp's angle and the buttons are harder to find and use. Build quality feels cheap. I amp certain I'm going to destroy this thing in the next few years. I hope there's a better option by then.

Ampli casque vox pour basse. Génial et très pratique

Great device. It sticks out a small bit from my Stratocaster when i sit on the couch. It sounds great. Has backup tracks built in. No user manual so you need to fiddle around a bit. I am still fiddling. I feel it is worth the price and allows for late night practice

Ancak aradan geçen zaman içinde eklenen özellikler cihazı muhteşem bir isviçre çakısına çevirmiş. Ses çok temiz ve güçlü. Overdrive çok kullanışlı. Eklenen davul ve metronom ritimleri harika, temponun değiştirilebilmesi ise ayrı bir güzellik. Ürünün tek kötü yanı gövdeye sabit jak tasarımı. Bağlantısı ön yüzde olan gitarlar için kullanışlı olabilen bu özellik, yandan jaklı gitarlarda, ciddî hasar nedeni olabilecek bir kâbusa dönüşebiliyor. Bu nedenle cihazda küçük bir revizyon yapma yoluna gittim, sabit jakı söküp kısa bir patch kablosu taktım. Şimdi çok daha kullanışlı oldu.
