Hot Shot's Secret Original Stiction Eliminator Oil Additive, 32 oz

Stiction is a outstanding product it’s a cleaner lubricant and work’s outstanding to clean and protect your engine. example I had a ford escort that ran great but had a slits tick in top end so I cranked car took off fill cap and poured it in engine and literally In about a minute tick went away! Starts working instantly!! Think it was a carbon build up in a lifter. Also this product will help engine stay cool my temperature gauge instead of being in middle at normal driving temp it dropped to noticeable difference cooler prob 30 degrees witch is great.. I recommend this product not just for diesel engines also for gas engines once you run a oil change with this just wait till you see what comes out very noticeable difference in cleanliness of engine.

My 2003 7.3L with now 240K mile with me being the 3rd owner.. First and second owners were friends and many service records were passed down.. Far i am aware the injectors are original.. I have been using Hotshots EDT since the week i got truck with 163K miles. PO did not mention anything about running any sort of additive feel sure he did not or the other owner that got truck new. I usually run delo 15w40 and walmart supertech when delo was out.. truck starts up after WTS light goes out in like 2-3 seconds of turning key to start.. When i did the oil change we were in area near Fargo ND for harvest job,, sugar beets.. that usually runs from oct 1 to later part so weather is cool but not cold. towards the end which was pushed to oct 23 the weather had turned with some nice cold in the 17s at night.. I was able to get some 150 or so miles on the treated oil before it got super cold.. without plugging in truck it seem to start a bit quicker,, I count one thousand one, one thousand two and it was starting in some cold temps below 32 deg F.. As for as sound it appears to be the same but my truck was quiet, for a 7.3, due to other mod to oil cross over, installing back fuel port on driver side head to help with #8 noise etc. I was more impressed with the speed of starting in some cold temps.. Now with more than 2K miles the start is almost instant in cold, 35 deg. temps.. So i guess my injectors for 260 plus K miles are in good shape. We run a lot of TA, Petro, Loves truck stop fuels which and have different degrees of Bio diesel in them with our diesel discount card from myopenroads dot com.. so far so good for me. I will only do this the one time for now in oil. seem to be doing its job highly recommend.

Literal miracle. I got this after having what I thought were 2 failed injectors (with less than 30k miles) in my 6.0 power stroke. I was about to spend the 3k it takes to get all new injectors, I had a super rough idle and a cloud of smoke coming out the exhaust. But after changing the oil and adding this it took about 25 minutes for the idle to get noticeably quieter and after 30 minutes my “bad” injectors were working fine again. 500 miles later the truck has never ran this smoothly or quietly, mpgs have gone up about 3mpgs and still slowly getting better. I would definitely recommend this additive.

Full bottle treats 32 QTs of oil as shown on the bottle but reading the back label says the dose needs to be doubled on the first use to maximize cleaning. That means it treats 16 QTs of oil. For my box truck engine, I take 20 QTs on a full fill. The amount of oil is displaced equal to the oil so in theory only 18 QTs of oil can be added in with a full bottle leaving 2 QT behind. This is close enough honestly to a fresh PM. For a 2018 Cummins engine with 600,000 miles, I am looking forward to see how it cuts down on sludge build up and removes all the burnt oil. Lately been burning 1 QT per 1,000 miles but if this works, I might be able to 50% or 75% the loss. Will report back for update but for now, given the reputation and effectiveness, I am confident it will perform well. Might soften the engine noise and reduce any burning smells. I do not see fuel efficiency going anywhere but oil loss should reduce due to the rings stopping blowby scenarios and thus keeping lubrication. Bottle size is compact.

I used it in my 2015 Duramax with 204000 miles. Usually my oil turns black after an oil change, with 3k on the oil change it’s still looks clean. I use Rotella T6. Definitely getting better fuel mileage and has better acceleration.
