Made sanding inside of bowl so much easier

This kit is really an outstanding value. The only flaw I found was that they did not do a good job of labeling the different sandpaper disks. So it can be hard to tell one grit from another. I wish the backs of each disk were labeled. Other than that, great stuff here. I used these to do spot sanding by hand working on scratches on a car. It worked like a sanding block. I did not even put it is in a drill. The disk allowed me to sand evenly avoiding the variable pressure that would result from just using your fingers. The sand paper is not designed for wet sanding. They do fall apart after a while, but they held together long enough for me to accomplish my task. It was a heavily scratched 1998 Camaro with only 46,325 miles on it. Once I was done, the car looked outstanding. I ended up buying a TAFCO storage case with about 17 dividers (Model #PRODL17YL) in it to keep the various grits separated. It is almost a must or you will end up with a mess of the sanding disks all mixed together. It is hard to beat the value of this kit. I would buy again.

The abrasive media is not top quality, but when other hobby vendors sell 2" sanding discs for $4 to $5 for a 10-pack, and $10 to $15 for the sanding mandrel, this kit is a bargain. That said, the abrasives included are more for finishing/polishing resins and other plastics. As a woodturner, the highest grit I regularly use is 600.

Bought these to try an even out the bottom of lathed maple bowls. Worked like a charm.

I was using it with a compressor die grinder to strip clear coat and more off my car rims. Like ever other review the sandpaper was not marked to well or sorted for customer convenience. More like, just tossed in a bag. The Velcro is not a problem yet. The sandpaper should be made slightly larger than the Velcro areas or make the Velcro part smaller. The little sponge cushion pad wants to self destruct, tear, rip etc. There should be extra pads with the kit or a way to purchase more if you decide to. Overall it works but I don't think the sponge pad will hold up long enough to use all the sandpaper that came with it.

the sanding disks fall apart when wet causing deep scratches. i bought because it said wet & dry in the description. material quickly builds up when used dry.

Used it to sand my rims for paint, works good but the sand paper rips of the pad fast so you can only get a 1-2minute out of the little pad, lucky theirs a bunch. For what I paid for I’m satisfied but would like pad to not rip off more durable would be better
