Woodhaven Custom Calls - The Real Owl

We have had a lot of fun calling owls - sometimes successfully sometimes not so much. When it works, it really works ....but you do have a learning curve. The first sounds you make out of this will sound nothing like an owl. I can really recommend the product though. My wife and I go out in the evenings when they’re owls nearby and create a total gabfest.

After using a cheaper fluted owl call for years with mediocre success I made this purchase to get a better sound to improve my success locating turkeys on the roost. I unpacked it and learned it well enough in a couple hours to try it out scouting that same evening. Although I didn’t locate a turkey I had an owl calling back and forth with me and it ended up coming over to me. So I would say it works. Great sound and straightforward to learn with some limited practice.

Great call. Definitely takes practice to get the right sounds out of it, but is very realistic once you get the hang of it

Sounds pretty good. Could be cheaper. Over priced
