Human Design: The Definitive Book of Human Design, The Science of Differentiation by Ra Uru Hu (2011-05-03)

How amazing that we have such a seminal volume of material on Human Design readily available to the public! I've been a passionate advocate and student of Human Design since I first learned about in the spring of 2005. It describes such complex behaviors/personality traits that we all have in ways that helps us comprehend why we are the way we are. It identifies our gifts/talents and our challenges with strategies to help us become more effective in life. And more importantly, why your family of origin, significant others, your children, friends and co-workers are they way they are. It enables us to stop judging the other as lacking and realize they are designed to be different and now we can celebrate those differences! I remember when I first started studying Human Design that it turned my world around. These teachings ask you to experiment with your design, to try it on to see if it fits, so to speak. As you do that, you begin to see your life unfold in ways you can't always predict but are often pleasantly surprised by the outcomes. I don't think I could say enough about how Human Design has positively changed my life. This book invites not only the Human Design student/analyst but the general population to take it out for spin and see what comes next. It's well written, comprehensive, detailed and delightfully arranged so the concepts of Human Design are immediately grasped, understood and applied. As other's have said, the graphics/illustrations are phenomenal. This is a book you will want to have easily available because it's one you will reach for over and over again to learn more about yourself and others around you. A great big Thank You to Ra Uru Hu for being the messenger for this system, and to Lynda Bunnell and others for their contributions to this marvelous book!

So much info about human design…a must have if you want to learn everything about this theme.

I wish there was an audiobook or an ebook of this book on Kindle. This book is the source of many of my successes and discovering the source of my unsuccessful attempts in my life.

I listened to many videos on YouTube before I bought the book. And I love it, so far. Simple language, no mystical stuff, just mechanical basics. I am myself doing the analysis of my chart as I read the book and wau, it makes sense so far. I see it as something fascinating and worth the time to check it out :-) The book is heavy, literally, such good feel, for those who love ,,crispy,, pages. Came in very good condition, like new.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this book. While I understand each person's chart is different & you really should have a certified pro do a reading, this book provides a lot of knowledge with which to go from. I've not yet read the whole thing, so take the following with a grain of salt. It does not seem to cover the 4 arrows of transformation, so I cannot in good conscience give a 5 star review. But it seems to cover EVERYTHING else so far!

I have read "Human Design - Discover the Person You were Born to be" by Chetan Parkyn, which is very good for a beginner. The Definitive Book of Human Design, by Lynda Bunnell and RA URU Hu, goes into more depth in each chapter. Plus I liked the chapter on Definitions, and the Global Incarnation Cross Index. I like both books, but "The Definitive Book of Human Design" is a very good second read helping me gain a more through understanding.

Incredibly well written and insightful information into Human Design! This is the original creator of human design and the book was very well put together by his student who carefully translates all of the knowledge into very easily digestible chapters for even novices like me who are studying this!

I love this book! The most comprehensive Human Design book I've read so far. Unfortunately, it costs twice as much buying it through amazon.ca and amazon.com will not ship to Canada. I ended up paying over one hundred Canadian dollars for a 50 US dollar book. The funny thing is, I still want this book even though I felt completely ripped off!

Akin to a bible on the subject of the HDS this book has addressed most of the gaps in my knowledge albeit it can't possibly cover all there is to know. Very pleased with the purchase and have already used it regularly to further my understanding of this amazing tool of self knowledge
