Danny is Gold!
I’ve seen Danny speak and I try to watch/listen to all recordings he conducts. He has a terrific way of connecting with folks. A lot of times it appears as a light bulb goes off and that he’s directly connecting with you. He’s real. In this book, his ability to tie the highs and lows of golf and relate to almost anything you’re passionate about in life, is incredible. Parts are scary to think about, parts are eye openers, but overall, this is an incredible book that can be read by anyone, not just golfers. Great work!

Non golfer’s take
I might be the last suburban man never to have picked up a golf club. But I bought this book because I know that Danny Cahill’s take on anything would never be so narrow. And he delivers. While the early pages are dense with “golf speak”, Cahill’s humor kept me engaged long enough to truly enjoy the protagonist’s journey. Everyone can relate to the tradeoffs between a personal hobby/obsession and the rest of one’s life and nobody delivers the observational wisdom and humor like Cahill. Well done.

It is what it is
I have never played golf but read the book for the humor. I could not relate to it as much as I hoped. If you are a a golfer this book is for you. I did find some of the anecdotes quite funny.

Must read for all golfers!
Danny Cahill's 'How to Quit Golf and Get Your Life Back' is a gem of a read that had me thoroughly entertained from start to finish. What sets this book apart is Danny's exceptional talent for crafting characters and scenarios so vivid and engaging, you can't help but feel as if you're right there, living the moments alongside them. As a golfer myself, the relatability of the book was astonishing. Each chapter, each anecdote, felt like a reflection of my own experiences on the course, echoing the frustrations and joys that come with the game. Danny's witty and insightful narrative captures the essence of golf and its impact on life with such precision that I found myself nodding and laughing along, seeing a bit of myself in every scenario. 'How to Quit Golf and Get Your Life Back' isn't just a book; it's a journey through the highs and lows of a golfer's life, making it an absolute must-read for anyone who's ever picked up a club or knows someone who lives and breathes golf. Danny Cahill has not just written a book; he's crafted an experience that resonates deeply with the soul of every golfer.

Danny Cahill does it again...
I found this book in my husband's backpack while searching for a charger on a long flight to Mexico. The title struck me as quite funny (not a surprise from the other Danny books sitting in my husband's office) and so I started to read. It sucked me in. I've read Danny Cahill's other books and heard him speak several times. Very few are able to capture my attention in its entirety like Danny does when he speaks and writes. By the time the flight landed, I had read my way through his latest book and it's my favorite yet. If you read the prologue, you'll be hooked like I was. As a wife to an avid golfer and workaholic, the insight was delightful, frightening, and I think I'll be getting literally everyone on my Christmas list a copy of this book along with some high quality golf balls. #SOgood
