Nicer than the photo.
It's actually a bit nicer than it appears in the photo. It came snugly encased in form fitting Styrofoam. No chance of damage during shipping! The details are crisp, the form graceful. I ordered the gold colour. It's a rich "old gold" tone, not light like a 14K ring gold. I would nor be embarrassed to give this as a gift.

Definately recommend
It is not perfect (a small hole on the chest) but overall very nice. It adds a calm pleasant feel to the room. I would definitely recommend this for your meditating area.

Not well made
This is a difficult review. I appreciate that this was made in China, where Buddhism is considered an enemy of the state. This meant that the description shown on this item's box was "resting Indian," nothing related to Buddhism. Despite my respect for the manufacturer's bravery, I must warn that this item was produced haphazardly. Large seams appear where the molded parts were pressed together, and this item was ripped out of the mold so carelessly that small parts appear physically damaged. The dipped finish is like distressed bronze, but the finish cannot disguise the poor quality. This item might be best for an outdoor spot then rather than an indoor one.

Item is not brass
Hi i have received your item but it's totally different as it's shown. The material is not pure brassa but it's something else kind of material..so i am returning it and refund me accordingly.

Lovely gift
Gorgeous lightweight Buddha statue, about foot tall and five inches wide. Looks like real brass. Lovely expression on its face. Perfect Christmas gift and very good value for the price.
