We’ve purchased 4 of these, two for cars and two for boats. We live in SWFL, and our summers are surface-of-the-sun hot, so the adhesives alone don’t tend to last long. I’m surprised to see that both boat ones are still attached and work fine after a full summer in the elements, and one of the car ones. The other has yet to be exposed to a 150* interior, but based on the others I’m hopeful. Nice that they adjust to all phone sizes, are designed to leave room to plug your phone in while in use, and are easy to install. Worth it!

Great item also durable. Bought for everyone and each vehicle now has one installed. I have tried the mirror hanging ones but it is too much to hang on the mirror.

In all fairness, I've only been using this for about a day and a half but I remember questioning if I should buy it because of all the negative reviews I saw on here. They were saying that the mount didn't even stay attached to the dash... USE A MOUNT BASE. (I just bought a pack of 3 for $7.50. I agree that this mount should come with a base but sadly it doesn't BUT, the mount isn't going to stick to your dashboard very well. The slick smooth surface that a mount base has will give the suction cup the best possibility of staying put. Personally, I think this mount is very well made and very sturdy. The phone in my picture has a 6.7 inch display and the mount has plenty more room to fit larger phones.

The phone hold is amazing the fit amazing the rotation amazing the ease of installation amazing! But I will say I think it’s not very sturdy. I didn’t last very long when I placed it in my truck it didn’t work out but it might work for you. Other than that I recommend!
