Permit to warm up calves. Warms up quickly in microwave. 50 second makes it perfectly warm. Adjusts to leg size easily with velcro. Have longer velcro on top. Looks good, works good. Easy storage. Sturdy material, soft gel conforms to leg. Can be used on other parts of body, flexible. Gel kept in securely. Haven't tried it for icing, but it must work the same as heating. Good value.

Sturdy, well-made, and highly effective. The material is durable, it doesn't leak, and it provides fast relief for joint stiffness and post-activity soreness. It conforms comfortably to the ankle, stays cold for a long time, and the adjustable strap lets you secure the right amount of pressure hands-free.

I'm using this currently after an adult tonsillectomy (day 4/5). Yeah, worth it. But, be ready to have other flexible ice packs outside of the four tear drop mini packs these come with. These do not stay cool long. I had a few of the long rectangular flexible gel packs already, and wrap them in a wash cloth (to protect my skin) and use this wrap like a "collar" rather than over the head on my neck/under jaw. It works great! This particular product allows you to snooze or walk around while icing hands-free. I strongly recommend getting two ice bags, the fabric old-timey looking ones made of fabric where you put ice cubes in- as those stay colder, longer. Both options on rotation will be excellent. The Velcro hold is ok. You wouldn't want it so strong it could choke you, so that makes sense. If you have a big head, this may not fit you well. I have a smaller head and it's a little tight. Around my neck as a collar (not its intended use) it's very large, since I have a small neck. I recommend this product, and hope you have a good recovery for whatever you're getting this for!!

My son just had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted and this came in clutch! It helped so much with swelling and provided the right amount of pressure to make it feel better. I would recommend this for sure. Also, they provide 4 ice packs total so you never have to worry about not having one frozen! Genius.

I would have never thought I needed this. But while window shopping I came across this and it’s been so beneficial. I’m on my feet everyday at work, in general I’ve had most jobs that have required me to be on my feet. At 40 years old, I feel it more and more after shifts. Don’t have shin splints but these gel pads work great regardless. As a way to revigorate my legs and rest up putting these on after work for 15-20 minutes is enough to relieve any exhaustion I feel. One of the better purchases I’ve made in recent years. The value for money and freezing time makes it easy to use as well as maintain. I keep these in the refrigerator and move them to the freezer when I’m ready to use. A must have if you’re looking for something to help with inflammation and exhaustion.

We originally bought this for my son’s tonsillectomy, but he could never get the strap positioned comfortably enough for it to provide much relief. For that purpose, it just wasn’t a good fit for him, so I knocked off a couple of stars. That said, the included ice packs have been fantastic. You get four small gel packs that freeze quickly and are the perfect size for all kinds of aches and pains. I’ve used them for lower back pain by tucking them into the waistband of my pants, on my calves, Achilles, and arches by slipping them into a sock, and around my neck on hot days. My wife might not appreciate me sharing this, but she even tucked a couple into her bra during a scorching summer day and said it worked amazingly well! So while I can’t recommend it specifically for tonsil recovery based on our experience, the reusable ice packs alone have gotten a ton of use around our house. I’d give it 3 stars as a tonsillectomy recovery wrap, but 5 stars for the versatility of the ice packs themselves.

Does exactly what it says it does! Stayed cold for about 40 minutes. Haven’t tried the heat side yet but when I do, I will update review it was a great buy for this price, most ice packs are 30 and $40 for a good one. This one fits around my knee exactly the way I need it to and covers all sides of my knee. It is a great ice pack!

I purchased this for my teenage daughter, who is a long jumper, triple jumper, and dancer. When her track and dance seasons overlap, her shin splints can get pretty terrible. This has been a game changer for her! She can ice her shins in the evening after getting home while still being able to move around and do other things instead of having to sit completely still with an ice pack. It’s convenient, easy to use, and has made icing much more manageable for her busy schedule. Highly recommend for active athletes dealing with sore shins and overuse pain!

Gel started leaking within 1 month's usage. Useless.
