can you cook on a glass surface

Have not used it on glass surface.

How "smokeless" is it?? We travel for work and would love to be able to grill in the hotel room.

It is virtually smokeless. I grill steaks, burgers, ribs, etc. and the fan literally keeps the kitchen smoke free. It’s actually quite amazing!
