I don’t get the negative reviews on this. It’s $10, of course it’s not going to be thick material. I think it’s perfect for the purpose. We are transitioning our babies out of swaddles so this band is just there for a slightly more snug fit. I like that the material is breathable. Handle it with care and it will last. My boy is 5 months and we had to size him up to a medium because his arms were too long for the small size. The band helps prevent the zipadeezip sack from bunching the material around his face and neck. Hoping to stop using this soon but for us, it worked great!

Made my swaddle usable! My baby outgrew his Velcro swaddle (see feet poking out of the bottom on left pic), so I bought a zipper swaddle intended for 3-6mo. Unfortunately, it was loose and stretchy and I feared he would get his head inside of it. I really didn't want to spend a whole lot of money on a new swaddle for him to only use it a short time (he's 3mo and my other kids outgrew swaddling around 3-4mo), and it was too late to return the zipper swaddle. I came across this "belly band" and it works PERFECTLY! He's snug as a bug in a rug, and momma can sleep comfortably knowing there's no loose fabric near his face. 🥰

This is cheaply made and it stretches beyond usability. It does serve the purpose of keeping the sleep sack secured from riding up, but it is only usable for a bit before it needs washed again to return it to proper size. Not worth the money.

A bit thin. I wish the material was same as the sleep sack! And I wish the velcro was longer so I could tie my baby a little tightly. But it does its job.

My baby loved her LoveToDream swaddle with her arms up my her face. But the arms that zip off of those didn’t work great for her. This zipadee zip swaddle lets her extend her arms up further but she’s not completely free. She started rolling so I had to find something quick and I’m so glad I found this swaddle! She took to it perfectly! I tested it out to see how well she would do in it if she did end up rolling over in it and she was able to completely hold her head and chest off the ground and flip herself back over if needed. I also purchase the Velcro belly band with it. She sleeps better with it on than off. I do feel like it’s a bit pricey for something they grow out of so quickly and you’d have to buy again for the next size up. I had to buy a small for her weight and she’s had it a month and now it’s almost time to buy the medium.

Very disappointed with this product. I have multiple zippies and now with baby 2 who is a much bigger fan of swaddling, I thought the strap would help for the transition. Unfortunately it does not work and the seam is already. My son used it for 5 minutes. I was skeptical about the quality when I unpacked it and even more so disappointed now. The material is too thin, the wrap is too short and not wide enough (might work for a newborn but then I can use an actual swaddle, I was intending to use it for my 10-Week old…) and the Velcro and design of it is not at all useful. The sleepea Velcro in its swaddle is the best and I will just get a couple larger-sized swaddles.

Keeps transition swaddle from bunching up at baby’s chin and face. It’s not supposed to get too tight as you are wrapping a baby not your waist.

Update: The velcro is fading fast and the strap has even fallen off my baby a few times...I doubt this lasts much longer. I'm not sure this is even worth $5. Was excited about this because it was cheap and just what I needed. I had contacted this company with my first kid about how their zippadee zip would come over his face and it concerned me. I ended up using a hair tie then so was excited to try this now. The pro - it seems to do what it's intended well enough and is thin so I don't think baby is uncomfortable laying on it. Cons: the velcro is already starting to not stick and I've had it maybe a week. Also the trim is starting to almost warp and pull weird. He is almost 5 months old and it says not intended for 6 months+ so hopefully it will last me at least another month but if I was going to have more kids this would definitely not last...but I guess it is only $5.

Maybe it worked a little but I didn’t find that much of a difference, or my baby grew out of her sleep regression so I didn’t really need it anymore. Great quality though and may work for your baby!

Keeps extra material from bunching up near babies face. It really should be included when you purchase it. Also helps baby during the transition out of traditional swaddle
