Item just about did the job but some pictures varied from product

I like these a lot more than standard hose clamps and it feels like they create a much better seal since they compress the whole hose uniformly. The thumb screws are also a lot easier than trying to fit a screwdriver. Just need to be careful that you get the right direction.

Wroked as needed

I bought these and the Taytool clamps. These Powertec 70225 clamps are actually right handed. If the wire in your 4" hose spins clockwise as it moves away from you, it's right handed and the 70225 will work great. I'm going to get another couple of packs now that I know they spin the right way.

Used to clamp dust collector hose to 4” hood.the offset of the clamp works excellent, as it is always clamping the hose, and not the reinforcement wire. Only small issue is when you tighten, there is more material than required.When you tighten, you have to watch not to cut your finger. I just cut it off with pliers so it’s away from my fingers.Worth the price.

In case you’re wondering: left-hand will fit just about all vacuum hose attachments from Powertec. So if you bought the black expandable 2 1/2” hose and are wondering if you need right or left hand clamps, you need left. If you bought the anti-static 2 1/2” hose, left-hand clamps will work. What I’ve found is that unless specifically stated, all the hoses are “left-hand” hoses, for which the left-hand clamps will work.
