Is this resin machinable, can it be tapped and drilled without any worries of chip-out?

It isn’t really suitable to be “machined,” but if you’re looking to do minimal drilling and tapping then it is certainly possible, I often drill or tap mine *before* curing but even then, with only light and Slow drilling to keep the bit from biting and breaking or cracking, also reverse drilling is very effective, can think of it more like drilling through plexiglass where you can easily catch and ruin a piece, but if done right, it can work well - also note that these resins are thermoSet not thermoplastic so it doesn’t “melt” like pla plastics - something to keep in mind when considering fasteners like knurled nut which are heated and pressed in

So I just got this resin and on the side of the box it says slightly toxic and very corrosive? Is this true?

Semi-true. It is toxic upon ingestion, so don't drink it. But it's low odor and does not irritate your airways. And yes, it contains a solvent but it can be safely handled with thin Nitrile gloves and does not damage any equipment. But yes, it should not be touched prior to curing. Overall a very pleasant resin wth excellent ruggedness and clean and safe to handle.

Does anyone have the Mighty 8k settings for the light gray, dark gray and clear colors of this?I was going to use it in Chitubox and no settings there

Settings for 8k 3d printer for different colors of resin? There is none, it is based on the manufacture recommended resin to be used. The standard resin for 3d printers is 405nm UV curing. These means no matter what color resin you use as long as the 405 nm curing is listed on the bottle you can use it in your printer. The light from the printer cures the resin while it prints your object being made.

Not great on the small details.

The tips of ghost rider fire tips all turned white. It seems the pigment can't remain as saturated on very fine details.

Consistent performance, lovely surface finish, cheap.

The red and the blue are the most consistent performing resins I have ever used. Just a quick cones of calibration to dial them in and you can go years on this stuff without having to adjust the machine. And who doesn't love a jellybean finish. I never get tired of it.

Great Value

This resin isn’t the best, but for the price, it’s excellent. While the cured models are a bit brittle, they remain sticky even after. After much trial and error, the way around this was to wash it in alcohol and leave it in the sun for 2-4 hours hours. Adding 10% Siraya Tech Tenacious resin added drastic durability. My Elegoo Mars 3 Pro had no trouble churning out models quickly with this resin. The clear nature allows for faster initial curing and speedy prints. As a budget option, truly excellent. As long as it remains cheap, this is my go to resin. If I was doing something requiring more durability, I’d look to one of the more expensive, more trusted brands.
