Veken 27 Ounce/800 ml French Press Plunger Coffee Maker Cafetière, Double Wall Heat Resistant Borosilicate Glass Coffee Press, Cold Brew Coffee Pot for Kitchen and Gifts, Dishwasher Safe, Dark Pewter

I have tried many brands of French Press makers - why I think this is the best I've tried is because it is HEAVY - the glass is HEAVY. If you make French Press Coffee on a regular basis and are a little clumsy like me you'll find you break the carafe at least once a year. I know I just got this and have not had a chance to break it but I will tell you it is WAY better quality and thicker glass than any I have tried on the market. The Bodum one - and I love their products - I immediately broke about 6 times and went through 6 carafes as the glass is so thin, same with the others. It's all just really nicely made. My only complaint - I would pay extra for them to make the top in stainless steel instead of plastic, but other than that it's a really terrific French Press!

Really high quality, great looking, and great flavor. My old one of 10ish years broke while I was cleaning it (darn concentrated soap), so as usual, I hopped onto amazon to see what replacements I could get. Wanted to replace from the same manufacturer, but it was quite a bit more than this one. After reading the reviews on this (like my review here lol), I bought it and couldn't be happier. Cool thing is that it looks so much better than my old one, too. Looks durable and almost industrial, so it's a nice addition to the kitchen counter when I use it. Speaking of which, I probably need to go make another carafe now!

This item seemed good value for money but there are a couple features I do not like. When pouring, the spout dribbles. Also, the plunger top is made to seal until ready to pour and then you line up a symbol on top of the plunger with the spout to "open". The symbol is printed in metalic over top of a shiny gun metal and it's hard to see. The "seal" doesn't really provide much in the way of keeping the liquid hot so I find it not only useless but annoying. NOTE: the same day after posting this review, I received an email from the manufacturer offering a full refund with no requirement of returning the item. Now that's fabulous customer service!

This is about the forth press i have purchased through the years. All the others tipped over and cracked with ease.I have had this one for about 2 months now and notice that the glass is way thicker than the others. This one is made very well. And i know glass is glass but this one is not going to break that easy.Thought they were all the same but no.This one beats them all.

The glass is a good thickness and the press part or top is easy to take apart to clean. It's just me so it makes the right amount for my morning coffee enjoyment. I would buy it again.

The French press makes a very good cup of coffee however, when I received it, there is a parallel crack below the spout as it’s hard to tell whether it’s supposed to be there or not I’m sure that a day after my warranty is over that’s when it’s gonna break I wouldn’t buy another one again

My mom has wanted one of these for a long time now and I finally got her one for mother's day and she absolutely loves it. Says it works great and makes really good coffee.

Nice heavy thick glass. I don't use the markers except in the way that I use them so I don't have to use them for measurement except for my own. The heavier glass is my favorite part.
