This works very well. The bigger compressor is a win. Couple things I wished I would have known prior to purchase. First the manual states that you should not make a batch larger than 32 oz. Second, the room temp should be less than 77 degrees (colder is better). I made 3 batches before I understood the above rules. Mine sits in the garage - now that its summer, it gets warm in the garage - like 85. Higher room temp makes the process at least twice as long and more. My first batch was with coconut milk, and was about 64 oz! Not good - it made a mess. After 1.5 hours I stopped it, took the paddle out and let it freeze in freezer mode - took another .5 hours. However, it turned out really well. The second was basic vanilla and still to big at 56 oz. Time was a little better than the fist, but I still had to stop it and let it freeze. The freezer mode is excellent! The third batch, I paid more attention to the manual - it was 32 oz. It went very well except the garage was 85 degrees. Again, it took forever (over an hour) This batch was orange cream and it turned out excellent, but I still had to interact to get it to freeze. The 4th batch, I got up early. The garage was 63 degrees. The batch was a little big at 38 oz. However it was done in 35 minutes! It was chocolate and very good. So, batch size is important - you should stay around 32 oz. Going bigger puts more stress on the motor, and it can make a mess. You end up with two big balls of ice cream being pushed around by the paddle. If your batch is too big those two balls will push up into the lid and over the side. My 1st batch pushed ice cream up the center of the paddle and then down the drive shaft and under the bowl - this is not a good thing. As long as I keep the bowl and the chamber dry, I have not had any sticking issues. Keeping the batch size small helps with this too. Over all, it works really well. I am very glad I went with the larger pan (2.6 qt), and with the bigger compressor. It is very easy to use and clean up after! My favorite thing to do is use AI to help me adjust recipes to my liking. I definitely recommend this machine. Its way too much fun!

I have always used a traditional ice cream machine. The motor burned out after decades of use and I was intrigued by the ice cream machines that had compressors. After lots of research, I picked the Couplux 2.64 Ice Cram Machine for several reasons: Largest capacity Upgraded ultra fast compressor Simple operation Stainless steel churning bowl (most are aluminum) Price point versus value I have used it to make lemon ice and vanilla ice cream. Both times it has finished in less than 30 minutes. It’s very easy to operate and it runs very quiet compared to what I expected. It functioned flawlessly and made perfectly smooth ice cream with no issues. Clean up was a breeze. It is large and weighs a bit, but nothing extreme. I am very pleased with the product overall and have no negative feedback, just all good. I highly recommend it.

My fourth time making ice cream..10 minutes in the metal bowl stopped rotating. And I noticed a heavy accumulation of the ice cream on the sides..NOT GOOD....Then i emptied the contents out and put them back in the fridge...I unplugged it then gave it a good 20 minutes. I started again at 30 minutes this time and within 15 minutes it looked done. So then what happened next the ice cream was caked onto the sides again of the metal bowl and then the metal bowl itself was frozen solid to the receptacle and would not come out..I had another batch ready to go so i tried again. Let is sit unplugged for an nour and started her up again. I did 35 minutes and it started out like it was going to work. At the 25 minute mark it stopped working again, and again, the ice cream was glued to the metal sides of the bow. And once again, the metal bowl was frozen to the machine and would not com out. I salvaged what I could and scraped the sides. But then both batches the machine ruined anyway, after i put them in the freezer , they turned hard as a rock. I did not have this problem the first four times with the same exact recipes..I go to their website and the support link does not work.I never took out the warrant y as I did not expect this crappy machine to die on me after only four uses.. Now i have to try through amazon to let them know it died on me.And .I now have to look for another brand to try....Finally, after working with Amazon the company reached out and were very nice in offering me a full refund. As nice as this was, I an still without a reliable ice cream maker..

Makes pretty good ice cream. Pretty fast and easy to use. Performs real well.

Excellent ice cream/gelato maker. I liked that it has a big container all stainless steel The compressor runs quiet and smooth it nice that it freezes as it turns You save a lot of time with that. Fill the bucket close the top set the timer press start and it goes. Clean up is easy. I highly recommend it and the price is good also.

This is the best machine I believe. I have been using their recipes mostly. It doesn’t get as hard as the old hand cranks. Be sure the sugar is dissolved. I have a hard time with figuring out the recipes because they use weight. The machine comes from Canada.

Haven’t even had my ice cream maker a whole year and tonight the mixing blade stopped turning out of nowhere. I loved it while it lasted though just didn’t last long. UPDATE********** After reaching out to me about my review, this company checked in and offered some troubleshooting steps. When those didn’t fully fix the issue, they offered me a partial refund. Since I absolutely loved my ice cream maker while I had it, I asked if I could receive a replacement instead — and they happily agreed! I really appreciate their customer service and how they handled the situation. It came today and my family couldn’t be more excited. Thank You! Will update you guys as the time passes. But i definitely am changing there star rating to 4 simply based of AWSOME customer service and the fact that they cared enough to even follow up with me and fix the issue.

We love this ice cream maker. We've made banana, chocolate, vanilla and vanilla + cherry ice cream. Each batch came out perfectly. It's a bit on the soft side at first, kind of like a Wendy's Frosty, but after an hour or so, it hardens up. It really only takes an hour to make and is very easy to clean. The spatula that is included is perfect. There are 2 of us in our family and this makes the perfect amount especially since I love me some ice cream. I will say the quality of the machine is top notch. It came to us with a fair-sized dent in it but it works perfectly. I highly recommend this machine.
