These Philips Hue candle-shaped bulbs are exactly what I was looking for. The fixtures in my ceiling fan are candelabra style, and I’m glad these are available in this form factor. While the wattage could be higher, the light quality is clean and consistent with no flicker. Setup with the Hue system was fast and effortless, and the bulbs connected immediately to my bridge through the Philips Hue app. After setup, they are also easy to configure and control through the iOS Home app.

Can be controlled by Alexa. My living room has a fixtures with candle bulbs at the entryway, with the switch at the front door. I like having it on when I'm in the living room. My kitchen has 3 pendant fixtures with candle bulbs. The switch that controls these lights is across the room from the switches that control other lights. Sometimes, I want yellow-toned light. Other times, I want white or blue-toned light. It's great to be able to control the lights from my phone, iPad, or Alexa! The first photo shows yellow-toned light. The second shows blue-toned light. They show that the bulbs do not have the filament design of many candle bulbs.

I love all of the Philips Hue products they work well, have a long life and hold up better than Govee. Several friends have bought into the Philips Hue system after seeing it in my home.

So most people would see Sengled as a better buy in general, but what really pushed me to buy and use these instead--Is that all in one capability. Sengled didnt have e26 bulbs in white ambiance to sync up with these, when Philips did. On top of that, Philips hue app was pretty quick and the best part--No $60 hub. Pros: - Quick setup (I advise setting them all up at once because bluetooth is weird with one at a time) - Hub optional - Just as bright to me (maybe a bit darker, not noticeable) to sengled bulbs Cons: - When using Alexa routines (like shutting down or turning on lights), it would turn them off/on one at a time. Not sure if this is an expected function but its better all together. Hopefully in a later update - Higher cost than most aftermarket bluetooth/wifi bulbs, but also more efficient right now - Must use seperate app if you dont have a hub(not a big deal honestly) For the price you're paying, these are good for syncing with a home. If you just want it for a lamp or bedroom lights and thats all, I recommend another brand.

I have tried several of the other brands, and been completely unable to get a consistent experience. I finally committed to the more expensive set up in Hue, and have been categorically blown away by everything. From initial set up, scene automation, and reliability, everything is just exactly what you want from smart bulbs. MeRoss, Nanoleaf, etc. shouldn’t even be in the same section as these.

These lights do what they advertise, I wish they where a bit brighter, I didnt see a 60w option. If these are the only sorce of light in your room, I would suggest getting 60w bulbs

They are expensive as hell. A bit of a pain to set up (have to walk to my basement, press a button, wait for it to fail and find my new lights, go upstairs, then add it by serial number for some reason? Every time.) But once they work, they integrate so well and are so easy to use either through the app, through control center, or through siri, it really is a no brainer in my opinion. Also I ripped it apart and stuffed the guts in a salt lamp and it worked fine! :)

The light itself has no issues (for now, only a few minutes of use), and the setup is easy with the hub. But when I received the item, the package seemed to be opened and already damaged. It looks like it was opened before. Also, it is dusty, both outside and inside the box. It definitely doesn't look brand new.
