I’ve had them for a full year with zero issues, and I absolutely love that there are no wires to deal with—installation was quick and clean. The Ultra HD video quality is crystal clear, and the solar power means no worrying about charging or battery swaps. Plus, there are no additional fees and plenty of storage, so you never miss a thing. These cameras give me peace of mind without the subscription headaches. No issues with the battery life. They stay charged. They have never went dead on me. The App is also easy to navigate. If you want reliable, high-quality, and cost-effective security, this is the way to go. Highly recommend!

Replaced a different brand of "AI enhanced" cameras that failed frequently and were very unreliable with notifications (and required a cloud subscription) and always failed to provide a live view when really needed. Only a week in, so I will update if things change, but at this point I am very satisfied and impressed: • The picture is amazing • Night vision is very good • Notification areas work very, very well; able to block the street and other areas of no interest from Motion detection so few false events. • Notifications arrive very quickly (and have been reliable) • The range is amazing (I have two sets - two base stations - one for the front yard and one for the back); one camera is about 150' from a base and it works perfectly (Live view in SD mode... picture stutters in UHD mode, but records in UHD). • Installation was easy (I was able to mount several on the brackets from the old cameras) • The solar panels are keeping them fully charged • No subscription necessary!! Base stores recordings. • A week in and both base stations register almost no memory use with lots of "events" captured • The "combined" feature is great: follows the same target from camera to camera • Unlike the other junky cameras (check my reviews for who made those), these guys go to Live vision every time I have tried so they actually provide security when something goes bump in the night.

Cameras work great and have a good quality video and sound! Day or Night everything is clear. Solar panels keep them charged easily i never see the battery below 100%. Notifications come through easily and dont miss a thing. I love the settings and everything it allows us to customize including motion detection between people or animals. For the price you cant beat these cameras they are well worth the investment. We have had to reset one of the cameras one time after a power outage.

This product arrived extremely quickly, and all components were present and functional/undamaged in the box. It wasn't easy finding an outdoor security camera system that has all the features I was looking for: 1. doesn't require professional installation, 2. doesn't include a costly subscription, 3. includes local video storage - an easily accessed hard drive in my home, 4. doesn't need a hard wired power supply or periodic battery replacements. I wasn't expecting one product to fulfill all these requirements, particularly at this low price, as this one does. It was helpful to read other reviews before making my purchase. My expectations were realistically restrained, which made some frustrations a bit more palatable. For instance, I knew it would be easier to install by downloading the Aosu App before beginning. Also, there appears to be zero reason to buy this system if you don't have a recent smartphone. I downloaded the Aosu App to my Mac, but, it is extremely limited; it does not give me full functionality and contains some weird glitches. YOU MUST HAVE A SMARTPHONE AND GOOD WI-FI to fully make use of this system. The 4 cameras were already holding a 50% battery charge upon delivery. This was a good thing, because it allowed me to check that they functioned normally on the App before mounting them outside. Installation was very straightforward, and relatively simple. Installing the home base was simple, and Wi-Fi connecting the cameras was completely trouble-free. All 4 cameras connected easily and maintain their connections to the home base without a hitch. I have 2 cameras facing the street, plus one toward my front door, and one at the rear of the house. There is good news and bad news about the images from these cameras. The good news is that the field of view is exceptionally wide, easily allowing cross-camera images from the 2 street facing cameras, and a view of my side gate and the back of the house appearing on screen with the rear camera. The bad news is the trade-off - there is considerable "fish-eye" distortion in the image. Also, even at a distance of about 30 feet, resolution is so bad, that reading license plates or identifying details of any vehicle or faces is near impossible. This is the newest version of this system, using 5G instead of 2.4G, as the older one did. Aosu claims enhanced resolution, but, I find it is pretty bad. This is one of the trade-offs I was expecting. Without going into too much detail, I must say that App is not very intuitive, and it takes some time to get used to the many commands necessary to find every menu or the countless settings included with the App. Also, not every feature works the first time when I use the touchscreen on my phone. Sometimes it is necessary to reload or reverse the commands to get to a previous menu, before it allows me to interact with the one I'm trying to work with. Some of the nicest features, like 2-way audio and adjustment for alarm and notifications, don't work as easily or as completely as I had hoped. So far, the alarms and night lighting features work well. Thankfully, the cameras' alarms, and App/phone notifications can be silenced or adjusted. I have already discovered that not all events are recorded. There were 4 separate events, last night, that should have triggered recordings, but I only found 3. I'm not sure what the minimum time-on-camera is required to trigger a recording or alarm. There is a real-time delay of about a full second between the camera and the phone App. I like that the battery levels can appear on the home screen. You must choose this option in settings, but nothing is easy to find. Adding an additional user was easy enough. I saw that some users had no trouble with this camera system until after a few days or weeks had passed. I will report back in 6 months, or if problems develop earlier. December 13, 2024: The cameras still work great, and I have encountered no charging problems, no loss of video signal, nor any other new issues. If you want a camera that has the resolution to pick up license plates from more than 10 feet away, good luck. These are not the cameras for you. Even being able to identify the brand of car parked across the street is impossible, and that is something I am extremely good at. The phone app is very fussy, and quite difficult to access a single camera quickly after receiving a notification. I have turned down (or off) audible notifications for some of the cameras, due to frequent false-alarms, like passing vehicles on the street and pedestrians on the sidewalk, or dogs and cats. It is hard to learn how to use the multiple steps to access one camera, especially if you just want to check the view, rather than respond to a notification. Finding and viewing the latest clips is easy, but the delay before recording begins for an event is annoying. However, I can't imagine that any competitor has eliminated this problem. I don't go into my older video clips very often, but, appreciate the ability to format the hard drive (eliminating all clips), to increase storage space.

I installed these cameras at my parent’s home. they went up pretty easy, pairing was kind of confusing for me because I’m an older person and I don’t do tech very well, but their support is really stellar. I called and they walked me through pairing the cameras. One didn’t pair properly, so they made a report in the service department email me two days later as it was the weekend. After trying everything it still didn’t pair, so they sent me a new camera. No hassles. So far so good. I’m really happy with these cameras. They have a very good picture.

I bought a 4-cam-kit package in July 2025, and all the cameras were running well until recently, when I found one of them had a problem. I contacted Aosu customer service, explaining the problem I had encountered. I got very quick and positive feedback, and Aosu decided to replace it with a new one, though my warranty had expired. I sincerely appreciated their support, not just because of the new camera but for their patience in listening to my explanation and their technical support in battery maintenance.

Installation was a breeze. It is easy to relocate. Vid quality decent. Swr easy enough to use. You might not want to consider this one if you are looking to avoid a subscription. Expect emails on offers. The local memory is enough for about a day- good If you looking to monitor your driveway or tree line or any other slower and/or something large enough to be dected well by the camera. Not good if you want to monitor road or traffic activity - faster movement does not get captured at all.

Affordable, solar-powered, no mandatory subscription, and overall practical. I’ve been using the AOSU solar camera for a while now and I really like how simple and hassle-free it is. Since it’s solar powered, I don’t have to think about charging at all - it just works, which keeps things easy. It’s also very affordable and doesn’t require a monthly subscription, which was a big reason I chose it. You still get all the important features without paying ongoing fees. The motion detection zones are easy to set up and customize, so I only get alerts for the areas I actually care about. The video quality is clear day and night, and the two-way audio with the microphone and speaker works well for things like deliveries or checking in when I’m not home. Setup was quick, the app is straightforward, and overall it’s a reliable camera that doesn’t overcomplicate things. Works really well after an easy and hassle free install

Had some issues getting these to addon to the current system. Contacted then through the chat in the app...it took quite a few trouble shooting items to get to it. They sent a link to a video that walked me through it and it was resolved. The product itself is also excellent...app is good. Battery life is very dependent of course on how often it's triggered....but it's reasonable, I'll have to charge them one every 3 months or so based on what I've seen so far, but a couple might be every 6 or more as they don't trigger often.

I ordered this four-camera and homebase setup. Installation is very easy after following the provided user manual (A small driller would be easier for fixing cameras outside). The Android app is good for basic usage. Connection to homebase and all the cameras completed the first trial without any issues. The IR sensor on the camera is very good at detecting any motion within a few meters during both day and nighttime. The color video mode at night as expected using the powerful white LED light. The notification comes within a few seconds of detection. However, cross-camera tracking takes more than a couple of minutes to show up in the app. Sometimes the camera status shows as offline. However, it detects offline also. The inbuilt memory of 32GB is sufficient enough for 8-9 months. After this, the loop recording will start. I have been monitoring the performance of the setup for more than a month. I have tested the battery usage without and with solar charging. Without solar panels, battery drainage is around 1-2% for two weeks. Solar charging fills this to keep the battery at 100%. These panels are very efficient and working on cloudy days. The only a few downsides I have observed during this time. 1. No additional port for increasing memory. 2. The home base will connect to the router via an ethernet cable (provided in the box). And the cameras are connected to the home base. Therefore, no flexibility to put the home base at the center of the house. 3. No option for downloading the videos to PC or MAC. Everything works on the phone. 4. Sometimes the notification is a few seconds late. Other than these minor issues, this setup is way ahead compared to others in this price range. I would recommend this product.
