We purchased the SafeRest Waterproof King Size Mattress Protector to use on our Leopard 40 Catamaran, and it has worked out perfectly. Our bed is an unusual size since it is larger than a queen but smaller than a king and this protector fits it very well. It’s also very easy to put on. You install it just like a fitted sheet, so it goes on quickly and stays securely in place around the mattress. One of the things we really appreciate is how comfortable it is. Unlike some waterproof protectors, it doesn’t make any crunchy or plastic-like noise when you move around. It’s soft and quiet, so it feels just like sleeping on a normal mattress cover. The waterproof feature works exactly as advertised. I accidentally spilled water on the bed, and the mattress underneath stayed completely dry. That alone gives us a lot of peace of mind, especially on a boat where protecting bedding is important. Overall, this is a high-quality mattress protector that is comfortable, quiet, easy to install, and truly waterproof. We’re very happy with it and would absolutely recommend it.

This is an excellent mattress protector. It does the job, is easy to wash and fits over the mattress and the foam cushion we use on top of the mattress. It is well made and the elastic and depth of the material used for the sides of the mattress (that holds the protector to the mattress) is the best - you do not have to fight to get it to fit on the mattress. Our pup has diabetes and with diabetes comes extra water going in AND coming out. Our pup has soiled the protector only a few times but, unlike before, it did not reach the foam pad or the mattress. Now, with his diabetes under control the protector is insurance for a rare moment. I recommend this protector.

My wife went into labor a year and a half ago and that labor went very quickly....so quickly that she ended up giving birth on our bed in the presence of EMTs. We then went to the hospital where I stayed overnight with my wife and new baby girl. The next day, once things had clamed down, I went home to clean up before they came home. I bought another one immediately and will continue to use this brand as long as it exists. I challenge anyone to put it through a more rigorous test and I'm positive it can stand up to some sweat or your child's pee in the middle of the night. This mattress protector has already saved my mattress more than once, which is really the main thing. It fits like a normal fitted sheet and goes on without much trouble. Once it’s on, it stays in place and doesn’t really shift around under the sheets. This is the third time we've purchased this mattress protector, we've now used these on each of our 3 mattresses in our household and we have been quite happy with the results. It is best to under the limitations of these protectors, they won't indefinitely seal out standing liquid, but they will repel small volumes for a while and larger volumes for a short period of time. In the rare circumstances we've needed them to do their job, they have dramatically limited the amount of moisture that made its way through the protector. Again, with reasonable expectations, this protector strikes a nice balance of protection along with comfort. Quality, perfect fit and doesn't have a crinkly feel. The top material is nice because it allows for your fitted sheet to stay in place and not slide around.

Barely notice this under the sheet. Fits snug on our extra deep pillow top king. I was worried it would make us hot but it hasn't yet. I washed it right out of the box, a bit tricky to dry though, because of the plastic backing. I used no heat for 20 minutes then hung to dry over night, no damage to the plastic barrier and the cotton side was nice and soft. Excellent product.
