Purchased this to power my Blink camera and finally ditch expensive batteries. I’ve used this for 30 days now and it works like a dream! It powers my camera non stop and doesn’t look bad at all outside of my home. So far through multiple storms and high winds, it has held up well. I’m planning on purchasing more for the other cameras outside my home. Couldn’t be more pleased! This is a great alternative if you are limited on outdoor power supply for your camera or want to stop purchasing expensive batteries.

Easy installation. Too soon to tell if it’s in for the long haul. Seems to be working good.

Today I installed this solar charger with the blink outdoor 4 camera. The blink 4 outdoor camera did/does NOT snap on/fit this solar charger. However, I made a few notches with a dremel and it then snapped on perfectly. Popped in 2 AA rechargeable AA Amazon batteries. It’s working perfectly. I’m looking forward to not changing batteries every few days now. This camera is in a high traffic/motion area. I am thoroughly enjoying monitoring my blink cameras on our property. This solar charger will save me a few bucks on batteries.

Unit is not working after 2 months. It appears that the internal batteries are not charging. There are no indicators on the unit anywhere to let you know that things are working or not.I initially charged it indoors on a wall charger for like 48 hrs. Again, no indicators to let you know a state of charge of anything. I plugged the camera in to make sure it worked before mounting, and it did. Mounted it above garage and all good. Blink app always stated that external power was "GOOD"- and then camera goes offline without warning around the 2 month mark. Put AA lithium batteries in and camera is working again. Tried to charge internal batteries of the mount using a power bank and it doesn't sense anything to charge. Don't want to unmount (unless I'm putting up replacement, due to location). Location gets from 5 to 7 hours of direct sunlight each day and another 3-4 hours of indirect light, but I have a feeling it that was never charging the internal battery and they only received juice from my initial charge. This is a great concept when it works and I like the design of the mount and camera holder, but can't recommend since it didn't deliver....On to looking for replacement...

So far so good, I charged it for 4 hrs before use and I have no batteries in it. Set it up and now testing this product 👌 but so far so good!

this solar charger works well for outdoor blink cameras. I have had no issue with this. It saved me money from having to replace the energizer ultimate lithium battery. Blink says 2 year life. We know that is not true. I replace the batteries around 6 months to a year depending on usage.
