Had a moth problem. Tried loads of things but the little a#£&#les wouldn't go away. Used these in the room 2 days in a row, then a week later. None spotted after the first use. Did the other ones just to be sure. That was last year. Just got a new set to do tomorrow a year later. No moths, just to be sure!

Expensive day after lockdown when I re-visited my suits and found I had to bin 6 due to moth damage. I’ve done 4 things.. thorough clean through including carpet shampoo etc, fumigated using these smoke bombs, put stick up repellent in wardrobes and put the remaining suits in plastic zip up covers. Super Fumers —> I felt a bit uncomfortable setting fire to something and leaving it in a closed room.. so I filled a large shallow bowl with water and placed the fumer on an upturned small bowl in the centre so if it fell over or melted it would drop into the water. On lightning there is a few sparks but nothing too dramatic.. the fumer then smoulders for a minute and releases smoke into the closed room. I can confirm that the plastic fumer melts through at the side, I’d never place these directly onto a carpet.. The room was filled with smoke.. didn’t smell especially chemically.. more like a bonfire. I left the room sealed for a couple of hours and then aired it. If you’re doing a bedroom I’d do it in the morning so the smell has died off by the time you go to bed. I haven’t seen moths in the room since I did it ..and I was seeing them daily before.

Recently moved into a house that appeared to be quite seriously infested with either carpet or clothes moths. I used these in every carpeted room a couple of weeks ago and haven't seen a single one since. I will repeat the process in a couple of weeks in case any new ones have hatched. Very easy to use - and effective. The smell lingers for a while, but is worth it!

Use these every now and then. Good for keeping moths and larvae at bay, good price for the size. Smoke output is good for a small bedroom. Do follow instructions, also use the sprays to get behind furniture

Good product and arrived well packaged

These larger size fumigators proved to be effective against the moths. However, you may need to use them more than once as it only seems to kill live moths, so eggs can still hatch. The other thing to note is that they will set off smoke alarms. I turned the mains circuit to our alarms off, but forgot they have battery back up. Doh!

I am requesting a full refund for this product as it is dangerous and not fit for use in a residential building. During use, the plastic melted completely and filled my flat and the building corridor with strong toxic smoke. This triggered the automatic fire alarm throughout the entire building and caused panic among my neighbours. Even after 24 hours of ventilation, the smell of burnt plastic is still present. In addition, the product did not kill the moths. New sticky moth traps were full of moths the very same evening. This product is unsafe for indoor use and completely ineffective.

It would be easy to reinforce the bottom of the containers with metal, but instead...the fire wick will burn straight through the plastic and burn underneath that too! 2 out of 6 burned through and burned the plates I'd set underneath them. These are so dangerous...and I still have carpet moths. There was a reduction in their numbers however.
