It works...
I have tried multiple types of Curcumin suppliments to help reduce the pain in my lower back. None of them have worked until now. This product is a lifesaver. I feel 50% better and is able to move around with less pain and stress than before. I highly recommend this product.

Expensive way to take curcumin
Ingredients: Curcumin Phytosome: Phospholipid-Curcuminoids Complex 500 mg, Curcumin Extract: 100mg, 200 mg of Phospholipids.Other Ingredients: Corn starch, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, dibasic calcium phosphate, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide.Dosage: Most clinical studies of curcumin have utilized dosages of around 1 gram per day. That is a reasonable dose, which is what I myself take. To obtain that dose utilizing this particular product, you would take the manufacturer’s recommended dose of 2 tablets per day, which means this bottle is a one-month supply. Research findings indicate it is best to take curcumin with a meal containing fat in order to increase its absorption rate (see below).Pros:—Convenient and easy to take.—Manufactured in Genova, Italy. The USA would be ideal, but Europe is far better than China, where there is no quality control.—The product information states: “NORFLO has 500 mg of curcuma + phospholipids per tablet for maximum potency and absorption.” Studies indicate that liposome conjugated curcumin increases the bioavailability of curcumin, and liposomes are most often composed of phospholipids, which are a type of complex lipid. Therefore, I am hopeful that the manufacturer’s wording means that this product uses liposome conjugated curcumin.Cons:—Extremely expensive way to take curcumin (see below).—Does not contain piperine (see below).—Does not contain medium-chain triglycerides (see below).Curcumin is derived from the herb turmeric. In its natural state, curcumin comprises only about 3% of turmeric by weight. Therefore, to get the full benefit of curcumin, most consumers choose a supplement such as this one, because it is an expensive waste of time to pay for a supplement that contains nothing but poorly absorbed, unprocessed turmeric.Curcumin is a powerful antioxidant with extensively, scientifically validated anti-inflammatory benefits. Inflammation has been found to be either the direct cause of, or a major contributing factor to, virtually every known disease. Thus, it is no surprise that the therapeutic benefit of curcumin against the following diseases is well documented: arthritis, cancer, cardiovascular disease, Crohn's disease, diabetes, and neurological disease.Curcumin is not easily absorbed by the body. Two substances, in particular, which are relatively inexpensive for a manufacturer to add to a curcumin supplement, have been found to greatly boost its absorption:The first is black pepper (Piper nigrum), which contains piperine. Research has indicated that piperine enhances the absorption of curcumin by as much as 2,000%. Most supplement manufacturers are aware of this well known fact and add black pepper to their curcumin supplement. Unfortunately, this particular supplement does not contain piperine. The second substance which is well-known to aid the absorption of curcumin is fat. Because curcumin is fat soluble, it is important for a curcumin supplement to contain fat or that the curcumin be consumed with a meal which contains fat. For that reason, most supplement manufacturers add medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) to curcumin to enhance its bioavailability. In addition, MCTs in and of themselves provide a range of health benefits. In particular, both the curcumin itself and the MCTs have been found to be useful in supporting normal levels of blood lipids. This particular supplement does not include MCTs, but it does contain lipids, as discussed above.Though it is definitely convenient to take curcumin in the form of a tablet, such as this product offers, it is an extremely expensive way to consume an already enormously expensive nutraceutical. I normally purchase curcumin from Ayush Herbs, which is sold as a powder in a 5.2 oz (150 gm) container, which sells for 75% of the cost of this little bottle of pills. If you consume 1 gram (1000 mg) per day (a little over 1/2 tsp of the Ayush powder), that container will last 150 days, whereas this product will only last 30 days. That's a lot of money to pay for the convenience of a capsule. As to whether curcumin works, I myself take it preventively along with various other anti-inflammatory, antioxidant supplements, as well as following an anti-inflammatory, vegan diet which is extremely high in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and legumes. One can measure one's levels of inflammation via a standard blood test called C-reactive protein (CRP). My doctor orders this test for me every year at my annual physical, and over the last 15 years, my CRP levels have consistently been extremely low. Though I do have arthritis, given that large numbers of my close relatives have it, and it was a genetic time bomb just waiting to happen for me, it is well controlled. I experience relatively minimal swelling and joint deformity (compared to my relatives) and no pain. When I first began taking curcumin almost five years ago, my lipid levels went down drastically, from high normal to low normal levels. I initially presumed this had happened due to taking the curcumin. However, I stopped taking it for a year due to its high cost, and my lipid levels went back up to high normal. I later decided to start taking curcumin again, and the second time around, I saw no difference in my blood lipid levels. So my own personal experience of it lowering my blood lipid levels is inconclusive.RELEVANT RESEARCHAnand P, et al. Bioavailability of Curcumin: Problems and Promises. It's agreeable with my body
The benefits of curcumin on human health have been known and studied since the late 1700s. So I feel safe taking these and I'm hoping that these pills will serve as a good preventative health measure. Although I'm not currently suffering from any diseases, I'm counting on these pills to support my health against inflammation, decrease in brain function, heart disease, and mobility. These pills have been easy to swallow and I've experienced no negative side effects. The only downside is the price. At $41.92 (as of 2020-02-19) for a 30-days supply, it costs twice as much as similar curcumin products.4 stars.

Expensive for a month's Supply!!!
Got these for my mom that has diabetic retinopathy and hoping it will improve her eyesight, but she has been taking them for two weeks and no change, I suppose it may take a few months to 'see' any improvement, iF there is...!!! However, at the price of over forty dollars a month, I don't know if we will continue the therapy after these are gone! Perhaps they are better to take BEFORE you get any age related eye disease, rather than after you already have it!!! I am still hoping that there IS improvement for her...!!! Thank you!!!

Great anti-inflammatory? Time will tell.
My pulmonologist told me to take turmeric so I am very hopeful that this will have a good effect on my lungs and joints as well. So far I have not seen any changes, but it takes time. The good news is that it is well digested without any problems, which is a big deal because I usually have trouble ingesting turmeric.5 stars so far! I will update this review if I finish it without any improvement!
