Not rugged enough
I bought this box thinking it would hold up I closed the lid and the weld broke on the lid latch, not worth the money.

Nice box - poor lock

Latch doesn’t work. JUNK!
The latching mechanism is over an inch out of center so there is no way for the latch to catch the lock bolt in order to keep the box closed. JUNK!

Junk
Cheap junk! I bought these to use as saddle boxes on my golf cart trailer that we tow around with an RV. Plan is to use them for bulky items, toold, hoses, power cords, heavy jackets and boots, etc. The things that eat up your valuable space inside the coach. Ad says "waterproof" but I had my doubts. They are not. All the handles, hinges and lockplates are thin tinny material and installed with a super thin piece of open cell foam as a gasket and rivets. Rivets already rusting (2 weeks) and rain water seapong through the foam. The locks were rusting up also. Had to soak them in chain lube. I've modified them and taped everything up with gorilla tape...this should work for a while. I drilled holes through the bottom (sealed) and bolted them to the top rail of trailer...otherwsie...they would have been sent back. The "waterproof" seal around the top edge of the box where the lid closes down looks no thicker than electrical tape. I did add a thicker material and hope it works. Pure, Cheap junk at any price.

Damaged by ups, Was really hoping this would arrive without damage. Needs way better packaging.
