This chick feeder and water set is the best investment/ value you can make for your baby/young chicks! It's extremely well thought out and will not disappoint! I love everything about set and the price is a steal! The water container is made of quality workmanship, from the narrower, yet deeper water reservoir, which not only holds more than enough water for the chicks to freely drink, but also you won't be really seeing all the poop in it either. The water container can be easily turned upside down on the counter because of the lil feet it has, making it easy to twist on the bottom in it's grooves when you fill the container. The collapsible, different sized heights of these units are a major plus! The metal handles make it very convenient to put down without any hassle. The quality in my opinion, exceeds many of the waterers out there and like I mentioned, the workmanship is excellent! This is the same with the feeder as well, which has this pointed roof top, which you can remove to fill again with food and it also prevents the chicks from getting on it to poop all over it. Worked great for new chicks up until 2 months then I went to larger feeder/waterer. The legs are set at three different heights, The second height locks in real well. The tallest height does not lock in but I have had no problem with them collapsing unless it would be user error for not checking before I set them down. Perfect for 5-6 chicks.

While the capacity is small, they certainly keep things much cleaner than waterers/feeders with no stilts. Sturdy, Its only tipped over due to my own clumsyness. Very happy with them.

I raise chicks every spring and this feeder/waterer set has been a great addition to the brooder. The adjustable legs are a huge help because you can raise it as the chicks grow, which keeps pine shavings and bedding from getting kicked into the feed and water as much. Anyone who’s raised chicks knows how messy they can be. The top-fill design makes refilling quick without having to pull everything apart, and it’s been easy to rinse out during brooder cleanings. It’s also sturdy enough that my chicks haven’t managed to tip it over, which is a win. Overall it’s a really practical setup for small flocks or brooder batches. I’d definitely use this again for future chicks.

Love these for as chickens grow. It helps with the shavings getting in food and water issue. It doesnt completely keep out shavings as they get older and messier, but it works well for the first month.

These items are built sturdy and I like the fact that you can adjust the height. The first level is good the legs lock in with no issues. The highest adjustment legs do not lock in so when you put it down the leg or legs fold in and spill over.

I would buy this pair again. It is SMALL. I am using to feed 3 adult chickens and that's about all I could fit around them. You could probably use for 5 or 6 chicks until they grow up, then they would probably fight over the water. Excellently made and great sturdy fold out feet to keep off ground (for waterer). Good price and just think mini-sized flock for this pair.

I bought one set to see if they would work for my chicks. To me, they are not worth the price I paid for them, therefore I will not buy more of these. The metal handle is very flimsy, and will most likely fall off.
