Update:The seller was amazingly helpful to help me get the device connected to the phone. Note for others. If your phone does not recognize the device, try to find the OTG function in your settings and turn it on. That setting on my phone was called "OTG Storage". It also auto turns off after 10 mins of inactivity which I cannot change.Old review:It is probably great if I could get it connected and working with my Android phone. I've followed the instructions to download the app, run the app, and connect the borescope to the USB-C port. Nothing happens after that. The app keeps showing no device connected. The description shows that it requires Android 4.4+. My phone is running Android 11.

got this product and just used once . So far so good . The integrated light helps to see the unreacahble areas and app helps to take picuture. The first picture is taken by this device and its app , connected to iphone. it shows the ports of a TV , which is pretty dark side, but the light included makes it well lit.Will continue to use for some purposes I plan, if this stays longer it is absolute value for money. Will keep updated here if anything new emerges.

This cord was able to connect to my iphone one you do have to download UseePlus to use this item very easy set up! It’s very long water proof I put it down my drain to see what’s down there was able to pull out a lot of hair! The picture quality is perfect! Worth every dollar

Pretty easy to use this with my iPhone13 pro, although I did find I had the flip the lightning connector over for it to register as connected in the app, and then it would suddenly just lose connection. I think that it's doing something like going to sleep and then will only reconnect if I unplug and then plug it back into my phone. That bit is extremely annoying, as it seemed to happen fairly consistently within 5-10 seconds of connecting but not yet actually taking a picture or video, and one time I had it in video mode but had not yet pushed the button and the camera disconnected almost immediately.I wish it would interface directly with the camera, rather than having to download an app to do that. On the plus side, the app notes state the developer does not collect any data from the app, and I did not get the notice asking me if I wanted to app to track my location or not. When I first plug in the cable, I get a message saying the apps wants to access my camera, so it is always confirming. The only setting in the app setting menu is for language.The picture quality is decent and I think this will work OK for when my husband needs to see through all the wires he's placing in wire harnesses for his car build. Although, if he has a similar experience using this with his iPhone 13pro max, he may just toss it into the corner of the garage only to be found 10 years from now in amongst the dust bunnies.If the disconnection problem were to be resolved, I could also see this being used for looking behind things like if you'd lost something behind a large piece of furniture or something. This comes with a few different attachments so you can try to capture the lost thing, although I think they would have to be pretty light items. I did find that if I got it into video mode and then actually started recording that I did not lose connection. Not ideal to have to record, but then you can always delete it afterward.The light adjustment works well, and is well placed close to the phone end of the cable.If this would stay connected (or better yet, if it worked directly with the phone camera without needing the extra app), I'd give this some more stars, but for the really annoying disconnection issues, I can only give this 1 star.The app also has its own album. I do not see the video nor any pictures I managed to take in the regular iPhone albums and vice versa. I can see good and bad with that.Comes with a nice velvet satchel for storage.UPDATE: Seller contacted me a couple days after my review noting I probably got a bad unit and offered to send me a new camera. They then sent 2 using express service. Both seem to be working as expected, so changing from 1 star to 4 (still wish it interfaced directly with the phone's camera than having to use other software). Really great customer service and it's obvious they care about the product and their reputation. So, now my husband can use one and I can keep the 2nd camera for my own use.

The app was clunky and after using the snake once or twice the camera started not working. We troubleshoot multiple times, trying different devices and installing and reinstalling the app. This was solely due to the camera. very upsetting.

I wasn’t sure if my ducts needed cleaning and this guy gave me that peace of mind. The accessories are handy too. Picture quality is not top notch but decent enough.

It works but the connection to phone gets loose easily. Kinda frustrating when you loose the picture and have to wiggle the wire a little to get picture feed reconnected. Other than that it works well.

This reviewer was impressed by the quality of the images captured by the camera, combined with the ability to navigate the snake head camera into previously difficult places to access for traditional means.This reviewer had hoped to demonstrate the potential of the camera by recording a short video troubleshooting the maze of assorted cables and wires on the rear of his full-size home stereo receiver. Prior efforts to perform this task involved a rather awkward process of trying to position a phone on the hard to get at backside of the receiver, hoping the flash would work snapping a quick picture, and then trying to analyse and troubleshoot based on the picture.In contrast, the snake camera made the task significantly easier and produced much more useful results. The camera light was activated to the brightest position, and a 180° loop was made in the flex cable near the head of the camera. This allowed the capture of a highly focused, well lit, and detail oriented video that provided a much easier and more accurate picture of the entire wiring and cabling environment.Although this video produced the desired outcomes, there were challenges transferring the 35 MB file. We had hoped to place a copy of the file to the pictures folder for easy access and dissemination, however this was not possible. The file was too large to send by email unfortunately. Another option was to send it to the iCloud, however the reviewer’s cloud was already full and not accepting new messages.Not to worry, the video on the Amazon product webpage, featuring a bro host wearing a Kansas Speedway T-shirt, is excellent at demonstrating the unique capabilities of this camera, especially in an underwater environment. Watching this video is highly recommended.The only improvables noted by this reviewer would be brighter lighting options for the camera, and seamless picture/video integration and synchronization storage capabilities with existing picture and video phone storage files. The camera functions effectively and the app was easy to download. The video quality is clear, and its performance is smooth. The light function is beneficial for capturing pictures accurately.

Device is nearly unuseable for Apple user. The adapter and connector are so loose and flimsy and connection are lost every few cable bending. Like within 5 minutes, I noticed 4 lost connection, yet the endoscope is still powered.
